$36, 16oz. Ribeye; the king Of steaks due to its tenderness and flavor. Mine was tough as leather and lacked taste. $36!!!!The fried calamari was limp and tough; likely over cooked. The tiny âLobster Bombâ was at $18, a Bust! The truffle fries were priced at âonlyâ $6.95 and there was a reason... nothing to write home about!!!...and the Brussels sprouts were undercooked. It literally took over 30 years for us to try this place; rated #1 in Shrewsbury...REALLY??!!!... Who the heck is rating this place??!!The other patrons seemed to be loving it!What the heck!!Never again!!

Once again a restaurant I have been wanting to try for years and a friend suggested this thinking I had been here with her before but...nope! Great steak...I got the beef ribeye. They have bison ribeye options too. Various burgers appear to be their mainstay but I am more of a beef girl...you get 2 sides. I chose roasted broccoli with parmigiana cheese and a 50/50 combo of fries and onion rings...perfection! Though I think I liked the onion rings more! The ribeye was fatty...more than I expected. I would I think go for the burger the next time. Thank you for the great review! We pride ourselves on serving great food paired with genuine hospitality and I am pleased to hear we delivered. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Like stepping back in time to the Seventies, the Steakloft is a friendly place with a very traditional "American" menu. The service was good, the food was tasty, and the prices were reasonable. However, there was nothing really to pull one back. Nothing really stood out, except for the friendliness of the server. The food was very good, but not truly memorable. Oddly, the Cobb salad did not come with bacon. The stuffed shrimp was exactly as stuffed shrimp was as I remembered it being back in Seventies. Decor is stuck back in the Seventies. An old fashioned bar seems quite out of place in Northborough. Oh, and the bathrooms were acceptable.

Got food poisoning which laid me out for three days. When picking up medicine at the Hannaford pharmacy next door, the pharmacist told me she would never eat there. She told me the chef came in bleeding profusely from the hand, was told he needed stitches but went back to work with his hand still bleeding.

Dinner with a group of 14 was great! We were in a private room in the back for hibachi. The chefs were very entertaining and fun. The food was prepared gluten free for some of us on one of the hibachi grill with gluten free soy sauce. The shrimp was delicious! Celebrated a birthday, too. Birthday girl was given a creepy but funny mask to wear!
