My family loves Mikes cheese steaks and hoagies. There are times when I have not been there for a while but they still remember me. Mike and Jerry(1) used to work at the Claymont Steak shop years ago, they were good also. Then when I had moved to Newark I went into this little steak shop called Mikes Famous Steaks, saw Mike and new that the sandwiches were going to be excellent. Everyone that works in there is wonderful, Mike, Jerry(1), Jerry(2) and everyone else. It doesn't matter if you call your order in or walk in, they will have it ready for you very quickly. Sandwiches are very fresh and full of meat

The last time I visited this establishment I was not impressed. However, it has since been purchased by Bloomin' Brands and there has been marked improvement. This particular corporation also owns Carrabbas, Bonefish Grill and Fleming's Steakhouse. Upon arriving my dining companion and myself were greeted by friendly staff and informed there would be a 30 minute wait for a table. However, we were also informed that the tables around the bar were not reserved. We chose a table at the bar. Service was somewhat sporadic, but acceptable, however, the food was excellent. My companion had NY 14 oz strip steak, baked potatoes and broccoli, and he stated it was all good. I had the 6 oz sirloin, baked potato and broccoli. The meat was cooked as per requested and the vegetables was very good. I will be going back. And, by the way, the place was packed.

Read the history of Ted's Montana Grill on their website and they will mention Ted Turner as the co-founder of TMG. Is it THE Ted Turner? Just something to think about. And of course, celebrities have opened countless restaurants and establishments (Kenny Rogers Roasters, Tim Horton's, etc.) and they can be hit or miss. So my wife and I had the afternoon free of kids, so we tried out Ted's. I thought it better to try it without the kids because steakhouse bills can add up and the kids may end up eating very little of what we order. In fact, Ted's does have a very reasonably priced kid's menu ($6-$14) with everything from chicken fingers to miniature steaks. They also give complimentary pickles. The server was honest and said some people love them and some people hate them. We're Korean and it tasted like Korean pickles, so we asked for more! As for the steak, my wife ordered a salad with steak on top. I ordered the NY strip. I asked for it between medium rare and medium. It came out in between medium and medium well. We were on a tight schedule (needed to make it to a movie), so I didn't send it back. The taste was excellent (I added bacon garlic butter) and the kale salad and fries/onion rings side were a nice complement to the steak. We ordered in house made lemonade (and the provide free refills). The total bill was around $50, which was pretty reasonable.Thank you for the great review, David! We pride ourselves on serving great food paired with genuine hospitality and I am pleased to hear we delivered. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

At Churrascaria Saudades, we proudly keep the churrasco tradition alive with Gaucho chefs roasting the finest cuts of meat over open fire, serving these skewered cuts tableside. A fantastic gourmet salad bar with fresh cut vegetables, a variety of traditi
Same format as every other Brazilian Steakhouse, with meat-bearing servers coming to your table to slice you a chunk of various cuts of beef, lamb, chicken, and pork. Our favorites were the bottom sirloin and the lamb. Other cuts were a bit dry, and the pork sausage was not very good. They also were a bit heavy on the salt. Service was friendly and attentive. This place is for hardcore carnivores only, as expected.

Food & drinks were excellent as usual but the service was lacking. We had 2 servers for our group of 11 celebrating our friends nuptials and my husband had to ask 3 times for a cold glass for his beer. Not the typical service we normally have.Nancy,Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience at Firebirds. I was so glad to hear you all still enjoy our food and beverages but I was very disappointed to hear that your server was not attentive. Your feedback is invaluable to us so I will be sharing your experience with our management team.Thank you.
