The Argentinian El Quincho restaurant is conveniently situated by the wonderful architecture of Murcia Cathedral.On entry to the restaurant, it is very strange to see there are no tables set out which would in my opinion throw out invite to the paying customer. I wouldn't be surprised to see customers take one look and about turn as it may appear that the restaurant isn't open for business. We persevered and once inside the restaurant is very large, but at the time, not busy. The waiter was nice and friendly and provided good service throughout. The camembert and cranberry sauce starter was disappointing, lacking flavour and not freshly made. The 600g lomo beef arrived, sliced into strips. It was cooked ok and along with the Rioja was enjoyable, although I'm not certain of the cut of beef.The restaurant needs to step up, as there are many others in the area, which were very busy and looked appetizing. Cost wise, the price was ok. When back in Murcia, I would probably try somewhere different. 3/5 as the waitor service was good.
El local es enorme. Tienen un menú dÃas laborables a 10 euros que es muy completo. La atención al cliente es buena. La comida está muy buena. A pesar de su ubicación apartada se llena muy rápidamente.

Was taken here for lunch by local colleagues when on a business trip. All the meat on display looked amazing quality and I chose an Angus ribeye that was cooked perfectly and really succulent. A great selection of traditional local starters included Iberico ham, octopus, great salad etc. Really good selection of wines and left very full and happy after 2 hours! Noticed somebody eating a paella which looked and smelled amazing so will have to try that if I'm here again!

After my flight was delayed, which resulted in me being late for the first meeting of the day and then I was on the receiving end of my colleagues' frustrations.I was happy when it got to lunch but their suggestion we head to Torremolinos was greeted by my quip it was a long way to go for lunch.Anthony Bourdain would describe this as a classic neighbourhood joint and it is. After passing the butchers as you enter the dining room is located to the left and from early during lunch it was very busy with a mix of the suited and booted, ladies lunching as well as guys in overalls, the mix of customers was broad.We chose fro the menu del dia, the food was hearty, welcoming and portions were ample.The menu del dia offered good value.

We came here for dinner on the âunlimited grillâ night. Which is an all you can eat formula for meat! It was alright, meat was good enough but I didnât find anything âspecialâ in the plates! We had dinner here and had a great experience. I donât normally post reviews about restaurants but wanted to share this amazing find. The steak was amazing quality and the staff were super friendly which made the evening for us. Itâs a notch above other restaurants in the area with the modern interior and so I wasnât surprised to hear that the owner has another branch in Madrid too. He is very hands on and was chatting to us making sure we were well looked after and itâs nice to have that personal touch.
