4B's is a nice little restaurant which actually straddles a creek. Seven booths and one table are allowed large windows to watch the water flow. Two menus are provided for the dinner. The smaller of the two was better value for our breakfast with two eggs, hash browns, toast and choice of sausage links or bacon. This is a dollar cheaper than the regular menu which doesn't even offer the meat.Coffee isn't particularly strong but the attentive server kept it flowing.Restaurant opens at 6:00AM daily during the summer. (Only one other two-top was in.)

Skip this place. Horrible food. Drunks cursing at bar saying they were high on mushrooms. We had children. The meat was cold and the veggies looked like they were months old. Skip this place.I'm sorry about your experience Hugh, That is not a typical occurrence. We have a zero leniency policy for guests using/being high at our location. As you can tell by our reviews on tripadvisor, google and facebook people usually love us. We hope to have you back again. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review.

In Montana's Big Sky country, where fresh beef and fish are abundant, you'd think an Outback Steakhouse would be out of place. What's an Australian-based steakhouse chain doing in Missoula, Montana? Do cowboys know what it's like to eat shrimp on the barbie? What's a barbie? Well, we've visited several Outback Steakhouse locations from Chicago to Sarasota over the years and one thing is clear: the Australians can hold their own. The Outback location at 2415 North Reserve Street makes you feel as if you're in Sydney or Melbourne or Brisbane. It's a steakhouse that also serves seafood and ribs and chicken and chops. They don't change their game plan because they're in Montana. In fact, it appears that many locals have taken a liking to the way the Australians do things. We started with baked potato soup and grilled shrimp and Caesar salad. For entrees, we had grilled salmon and a bone-in natural cut ribeye with baked potato. For dessert, we shared a double chocolate parfait. If you didn't see the sign over the front door, you would have thought you were eating at a Montana dude ranch.

Jakers was recommended by the desk clerk in brooks motor inn.We arrived without reservations so weâre seated at the bar. We were served drinks straight away and then seated in the restaurant within half an hour. Our server heather was attentive efficient and gave great info on the choices. I would recommend the avocado/crab salad starter. Really tasty and a meal in its self.My main was the cedar plank salmon, and omg, I have NEVER eaten salmon that good, never. In all our travels around the world, this was the best meal I have ever eaten. Served with rice (my choice) it was the star of the show.Final dish was a crime brûlée, which was huge, rich and creamy, yummy. We live in the UK so unlikely to return to Missoula for some time, but we are going to great falls on this trip so will try jakers there too. Joanne,Thank you so much for your recent visit to Jakers and I'm so pleased you enjoyed yourself! We certainly pride ourselves on quality food and exceptional restaurant service and I'm glad to hear that we achieved that with you! I know it may be a while, but we look forward to having you for dinner again soon!Best,Josh ChavezGeneral ManagerJakers Bar and Grill-Missoula

Went with a reservation, greeted and seated promptly. We dined at the restaurant regularly in the 80âs and a few times since when visiting Missoula. Its still a favourite. Cozy interior, comfortable seating. Good varied menu of meat and seafood and the amazingly great salad bar is still available ($7.95). Like dining out anywhere, prices are now much higher. This time we ordered the 8oz filet and the Depot kabob. Both came with one side. Chose a baked and a garlic mashed potatoes. The garlic mash was the winner. The food was excellent, the service attentive, the wine prices reasonable. Looking forward to our next visit.

I wanted a good steak so asked at hotel the nearest place to get one. They sent me here, maybe a mile down road. Was seated pretty fast and server was friendly and helpful. Ordered a bacon wrapped filet with baked potato...the steak was excellent...salad was Sammo , sammo but no bread/roll of any kind which I found odd. I looked at dessert list and saw they served fresh huckleberry (3berry) cobbler. I got it to go for later in room. When I opened the cobbler was so upset as was pricey, there was no cobbler to it just runny berries with hair in it. I was sick as had started to eat and not one hair...many hairs...so be cautious if they are busy you may get a dessert thrown together and not even cooked
