After Kelly and Christel Burmaster acquired and studied the history of the property where the 2920 Roadhouse is located today, it was during the cleanup of the property that that a deep desire built within them to restore the beauty of this old house that
Sad to leave 1 Star, because 2920 Roadhouse used to be a favorite of ours. The food and the service has gone way downhill. I will say that the hostess did warn us that they were short handed, and we chose to stay anyway. I ordered a Bloody Mary when we placed our order, and didnât get it until our food came out, and thatâs only because I reminded her. They werenât very busy at all, as it was Sunday afternoon. My husband ordered steak and eggs, and his âchicken fried steak â tasted like Dairy Queen steak fingers. Not a bad thing, but not what youâd expect paying $15 for a meal. His scrambled eggs were also over cooked, and hard to swallow. My Roadhouse Benedict was awful. I couldnât even finish 1 of them. It was dry, because they use fried eggs instead of poached, (even the fried egg was over cooked and rubbery,) the biscuit was hard, the cheese sauce was clumpy, and the âmini hash browns are simply hashbrowns with lots of pepper on them. No taste at all. When I let the manager know because my daughter ordered tacos which came with the clumpy cheese sauce as well, he admitted that it probably sat in the window for too long, and offered me a piece of pie. I came in to eat breakfast, so I didnât want pie. (When I say clumpy cheese, my daughter was able to hold the bowl the cheese came in upside down and it stayed in the bowl.) Overall, really disappointed, and donât plan on returning.

My husband and I had dinner here on a Friday evening. Our server was professional, warm, and helpful. The wine list had a good selection at reasonable prices. The complimentary bread, butter, and chimichurri was delicious and worth breaking my diet for. Lobster bisque was awesome with a nice spice. We ordered the garlic prawns for our appetizer, and they were perfectly cooked. The sauce they are served with would be good on anything! My husband ordered the ribeye. It was perfectly cooked, and he ate the entire thing. I ordered the curry trout, and it was amazing! Awesome flavor. We finished off with the chocolate sphere and brownie dessert. The presentation was gorgeous, and the brownie was rich and decadent. The owner is the nicest guy and made sure to thank us for coming and chatted with us at our table and on our way out.Iâm so happy we finally have something nice and different in the area! We will be repeat customers for sure!
