TBG is a hidden gem between Macon and WR. The menu is ample, the food is fresh, the steaks are outstanding, and the service is very attentive. Besides steaks, they have all kinds of salads, sandwiches, seafood, and more. The variety of sides is great. Plenty of different beers to choose from. Why stand around for an hour at one of the chains?

I have been coming to this Outback a couple times a month for over 20 years but have to say the service has gotten worse every time i go, tonight was the worst yet. I won't go into details but management had better address customer service soon or this place wont be open long.

Food was good. It always is good. But, again, they undersized the steak. I ordered an 8 oz sirloin but got a 5 oz sirloin. My wife ordered a 6 oz sirloin but was also undersized. As a former meat-cutter and dedicated grill master, I really know meat weights and sized. Isn't that the secret of grilling? They did respond to my comment and make it good but IO don't like to comment nor do I like to negatively criticize. It's much better to brag on them.

Went for our anniversary with friends and had a great time. Our server Peter did an outstanding job taking care of us and our Chef was awesome!!! We will definitely be going back!!!!

My wife and I stopped in for dinner on our way down to Florida...we had the best waitress named Katie...It's always fun to munch on salted peanuts while you wait for your food...We started our meal with the best hot bread rolls...They came with cinnamon butter that was super tasty...I got the Killer ribs and my wife got a steak...both were good...The fried onion appetizer was good but didn't like the dipping sauce...Overall, I would highly recommend!!!!!!!

Middle Georgia is lacking a bit in terms of fantastic local eateries! However, the Downtown Grill is a diamond in the rough! Barely noticeable down a back alley I. Dow town Macon, valet parking is available if you just pull up to the front door. Although you would t know that unless you saw someone else so it. This is a place that has âregulars,â and the staff takes care of them well! We happened upon the Downtown Grill because our âDinner Clubâ has chosen it for our monthly meeting. I had not heard of it prior, and had never seen it. Our group of 13 was large enough that they gave us the private back dining room. The decor was cool and hip. The table, large and square so all 13 of us could engage in conversation easily.The staff took our drink order. They have an extensive whiskey selection, but the Moscow Mule was perfect. There was no rush, and within a reasonable time our appetizers were ordered. From scallops to charcuterie boards, the variety is vast, but the product, delicious. Again, there was no rush to order our main course. This is a place to savor the atmosphere, the food and the conversation. Next, main entree orders were taken. There were specials, but the main menu is short but sweet. Steak, seafood and a couple of poultry & pasta items. My husband had the scallops, I had the fillet. Both the scallops and fillet were cooked perfectly. Dessert options included a huge Icebox Cake & Creme Brûlée. Again, both were outstanding! There was no need to rush, the staff was quick to help when needed. It was divine! Weâll be back again!
