My wife and I, whilst visiting Phalaborwa, from Kruger Park, had lunch at Yurok Spur. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and shown to a table. The pleasant cordial waiter, after handing over the menu took our order for drinks. Alcoholic and non-Alcoholic drinks are available. On serving the drinks, he took our order for the meals. It did not take long for the meals to arrive. Our dishes chicken salad, crumbed mushrooms and cheesy garlic prawns were tasty indeed. We were so contented that we ordered two more take-away meals for dinner, later in the evening, at our bungalow in Kruger. The toilet facilities are clean. There is free Wi-Fi. The last ten years I visit this hotel/restaurant for 1 or 2 times a year.Food is always good and tasteful. ( seen 4-5 diff chefs passing by )I enjoyed it also again this time.Great place.Only little remark is we had one evening during our stay that there was a group from outside the hotel and that was to much for the employees.Dear Ronald K,Thank you very much for your feedback via tripadvisor. The place has a relationship with Maroela Guest Lodge so my dinner was courtesy of the lodge.Its a different place from the norm.Its easy to find,about 2 minute drive from the lodge.They have these stuffed animals,LP's hanging from the ceiling plus pans...a great sushi bar and a kiddies play area.I had Tbone with pap.A great meal which I enjoyed. When in the area I would like to explore this place a little bit more.

The property is lovely, located right outside the entrance gate to Timbvati reserve. Our room was very comfortable and cozy with a lovely view of the pond. It is very peaceful and serene place. Monkeys visited us every day...The staff was friendly and helpful.Unfortunately if you do not have a car, you are isolated. It is 25km from town.

Lovely dinning experience. Extensive Menu, some may say to much choice but you not going to be disappointed. Fantastic food at a very good price. We came to Hoedspruit to watch the World Cup game and were really impressed with the friendly service and great staff and owners. The prices of the pizzas are good but be careful when ordering extra toppings their price are ABSURD. I ordered a margerita pizza (R70) and added olives. There were two olive slices per slice of pizza. For 16 olive slices I paid 28 RAND. The cost of my pizza increased by 50% for less than 8 olives. Complete ripoff.Thanks for your valuable review. We have looked into our pricing and costing on pizza add-ons and happy to say your input has been most helpful for us to better the value of meals with a newly designed and priced menu.
