We are frequent customers at The Keg in Ontario and were therefore quite anxious to try their fisr restaurant in Laval, Quebec. The restaurant decor was outstanding and waymore superior than any in Ontario. Love their second floor terrace. The restaurant was verymodel and the bar was quite nice also. The appetizers and steaks are always great there. The only issue was that it took over an hour to get our dinner. The server stated they hsd someme hanical issues in the kitchen, however, they did the right thing by not charging us for coffee and desserts stating it was their policy that if a meal is not delivered within 30 minutes the desserts & coffee is free. This is great customer service and we appreciated the gesture. We will certainly return on our next trip to Laval

The is very tasty the prices very affordable. The service friendly and the owner is always there to great his clients and make sure that their dinning experience is memorable. Of all the Madison's in that I have eat at, this is the one I go to over and over again. I also have Family reunions ( 45 plus people) there a couple times a year and we are never disappointed.

They serve gréât salads.They have good griller shrimps or grilled lamb chops. Service is good last fall we sat outside we had good food gréât environment & enjoyed the outside world which we cannot have enough.

First time here and most likely the last. Nice big restaurant but way too dark. A lot of restaurants want the ambiance and so they dim their lights, but when I need a flashlight to read my menu, that's a problem. Not only do you have a hard time reading something but it does make you sleepy being so dark. I really dont appreciate when I speak to the hostess in english and she replies to me in french. It seems the majority of the staff have a hard time with speaking in english. We got our table, ordered our food and waited an hour to get it. We ordered the entree of fried calamari $13.50 between 4 of us, but let me tell you it was really for 1-2 people portion. My husband and I ordered each the ribs & steak at $32.00 which was not good. The so called steak was the size of a filet mignon . As soon as we took our first bite we realized our food was not hot. The tiny piece of "steak" was like chewing on leather. I took a bite of our friends meal just to see if it was only me and all were the same thing. So of course we sent them back to get hot meals. The coleslaw had way too much vinegar , the ribs were just ok. The manager came to see us because we sent back our dishes and he did apologize for the inconvenience. The best part from all this was my glass of Gallo zinfandel. We got complimentary coffee and desserts. They only have 4 choices. We each took a different one just to taste each others dessert . Again very disappointing. So basically we spent over $240.00 between 4 of us and we did not enjoy our food. Very sad!Hi, We are sorry to read your comments. We booked this as a birthday dinner. Really good steaks. We had the filet mignon, St. Paul steaks with the fries and dessert. Everything was really good, we'll cooked to order with no issues at all. It can get busy so reservations are a good thing.I wouldn't hesitate to try this restaurant.
