Discover Restaurants offering the best Steakhouse food in Laughlin, Nevada, United States. Hit the casinos, watch big-name entertainment and stay at a themed hotel. Las Vegas? No, but this small gambling town on the banks of the Colorado River offers a taste of Vegas minus the glitz, traffic and high costs. Plus, there's much to do here besides gambling. Not only does Laughlin have the Colorado River for boating, swimming, fishing, waterskiing and other sports, but it also has gorgeous Lake Mohave offering much of the same on a grander scale. Golfers will enjoy beautiful courses where reasonable green fees stretch their dollars. For a taste of the Wild West, head to nearby 100-year-old Oatman, where you can catch a mock gunfight and guzzle beer in an old-time saloon. Hiking, anyone? Grapevine Canyon awaits you, famous for the Indian markings - some 800 years old - carved into its boulders. If the slots are calling, you'll find plenty of gaming houses, with water shuttles running between them 24/7. What Laughlin lacks in Vegas glamour, it makes up for in affordability, scenic beauty and aquatic fun.

The evening we visited Moonshadow there was a $50 special for two that included a glass of wine, salad, several entrée choices, and dessert. All the food was first class and the service was flawless. The room is very classy: white table cloths etc. This was a delightful surprise since many places serve specials that are built on serving inferior food. This restaurant is ideal for special occasions. My wife commented that the pork chop was probably the best she has ever had.

My wife and I ate here on a Tuesday night. There were only three other tables seated when we were there. The wait staff was extremely slow and I mean slow. We waited for our drinks for about 20 minutes. Then we waited again for another 20-30 minutes for our food.On the positive side the food was excellent, very well prepared and warm. No complaints there. We would not go back there because of the slow service, but if you have allot of time to kill, the food is very good.

We were there for New Years Eve and they had a special menu which was pretty good. However, the hostess was very rude. She treated us like we were putting her out because we showed up. (we had a reservation). Then it took about 15 minutes to even receive water on our table once we were seated. Our waiter was rude and rushed us and was very short with us when we asked a question. My dad never got his drink order and the waiter never even came and checked on us once our food came. It was supposed to be a fun night with friends/family and dinner put a damper on it. I won't be back.

We always order the two for one full course meal. I get the ribeye and my husband gets the pork. I used to give this place a 5 star, but the new manager ended serving the steak on a sizzling cast iron plate, and chilling the salad. Still, itâs the one restaurant we go to when we want a nice dinner for two. Please bring back the skillet and chill those salads!Thank you for the review. I will pass you suggestion along to the new Manager.

We have eaten here twice since noticing the following changes, so this review is not just a fluke. This restaurant used to have filet mignon that melted in your mouth. However, a waiter told us hat many "cost- cutting" changes are being implemented. Those seem to be: 1.) Quality of the meat seemed markedly different. It did not taste like filet and was rather chewy. 2.) Very small portion of vegetables has been reduced literally to one small onion (quarter size) and the tip of a carrot. No kidding, you can barely see these on the plate. 3.) Desserts used to be very special including a generous dollop of whipped cream, fresh berries (raspberries, blackberries) and an edible orchid on the plate. The restaurant has received rave reviews for their desserts. Now they have DESTROYED the presentation. Whipped cream is now about one level teaspoon, berries have been reduced to 2 paper thin slices of strawberry, no orchid and reduced size of the dessert itself. What a poor decision by management!!! Hope this is not a property-wide effort by the new Tropicana owners, but we have noticed similar changes at other casino venues. The buffet has also done away with some things, including their popular breadsticks. They are serving day-old pieces of bagel as "garlic knots" flavored with garlic powder instead of the fresh breadsticks. YUCK.

Very busy steakhouse! The hostess seated 4 tables all at once so our waiter seemed a little overwhelm. My mom ordered the chopsteak with mashed potatoes. She asked for gravy the server said they didn't have any. (Very dry).I ordered the half rack ribs and a sweet potato. Ribs were very meaty and BBQ sauce was tasty. If you want vegetables that is extra.Husband ordered sirloin and chicken breast combo. Was a good portion.

Well nice atmosphere, pleasant hostess and bartender. Crabcakes were wonderful and the Strawberry Mule was good, but that is all the good I can say. Salad was soaked in dressing. Ordered the prime rib with a potatoe. Potatoe was so cold would not even melt butter. Prime rib edge was tender, but the rest was cold and tough. Had to ask for a server to order meal, saw him once more when he brought over salad. Never saw him again for the rest of the meal. Manger saw that I wasnt wating so came to ask if everything was ok. Explained problems. She removed entree and returned with adjusted bill. Food looked good but in the end was a disappointment

B-I-L and I had our annual dinner at THE RANGE and as usual, it was GREAT. I started with the salad with BLUE CHEESE and then the LOBSTER BISQUE (EXCELLENT) followed by the PRIME RIB (came with a side of BRUSSEL SPROUTS, which I can't stand) and it was prepared just the way I requested. B-I-L had the same except for SAMON which he said was very good. Lastly, we finished up with TERA MASUE.Service was attentive. Who could ask for anything more? ( OH YES, IT WAS COMPED)
