Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse embodies the rich tradition of the classic American steakhouse, serving USDA Prime Beef, fresh seafood and premium wines from our award-winning wine selection.
I ordered Chilean Snapper, crab fried rice, and water. My guest ordered crab cakes, cheesecake, and lobster bisque soup. Everything was perfectly prepared and tasted scrumptious. Service is impeccable. Reservations are recommended because they get crowed for dinner.

We have been to Eddie V's several times and are extremely impressed with all aspects of the restaurant. We particularly appreciate the warm hospitality from the manager Atul Kapoor but from all of the staff. They are all enthusiastic, accommodating, friendly and professional. We have always enjoyed all of the menu offerings. The Jumbo Shrimp we had today were the largest and tastiest that I have ever had. I have had several steaks there and they are both tender and delicious. We went there today for our anniversary and that had a red rose for my wife. The decor is elegant. I would highly recommend Eddie V's.

I had dinner with a girlfriend at Steak 48 Friday night. The place was crowded and loud, but that was expected. We had a 7:15 p.m. reservation. I love that most people come dressed very nice and it's a great place to see the beautiful people of Houston out and about. Unfortunately, some people do not know how to dress for a place as upscale and fabulous as this and I wish the restaurant would bar entry to anyone not well dressed. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was very good. The pork belly appetizer is probably the best I've ever had. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The cocktail and wine selection are awesome. This place in pricey, but the food and service make you feel good about the price tag.

We usually go to the original location on Westhiemer. We had a concert to go to this evening. Been here a few times.Easy to get a reservation on a Saturday night, luckily. Easy valet parking, great bar area with a piano player. Seated quickly. Celebrating my sisters birthday..Waiter was pronto, asked about allergies, told us about the specials, brought our drinks and their awesome hot loaf of bread with real butter. We usually order and share. The filet are the best, though they have a complete assortment of dry and wet aged choice and cuts of beef. We split a 12 oz filet medium rare, and my favorite and best anywhere flash fried gulf oysters with a remoulade and cocktail choice of dipping sauces. Lightly battered and delicious. Order of the au gratin potatoes and the monster asparagus. All cooked to perfection. They asked us earrly on if we had a celebration and when we ordered dessert, the sticky gooey pecan pie alamode, they comped the desert. Great food, great night was had..

The service at the restaurant is quite good and attentive. They seem to have less meat selections than some Churracaria's but the cuts of meat are the better ones and the meats are cooked and seasoned very well. The traditional sides for the table are inferior. The salad bar is very average as well. Lastly, like most Churrascaria's the room is a bit cavernous so it's better for a group of people. As I said, if the meats are what you are interested in... and that's why you go to a Churrascaria, then it's worth it. The prices may be a bit steep for what you get but not enough to make a difference in whether you choose to go or not.

Wonderful atmosphere and service! If you want a good steak, it's here but a bit pricey. A really neat spot with many historical artifacts (you can get a guide). Food was fresh and served hot. We collectively had the tenderloin medallions, the prime rib, and a burger. Burgers and medallions were great. Prime Rib was good - a little tough and bland but overall tasty. Salad bar is nice offering fruit and cheese in addition to salad fare. Homemade mini bread loaves were to die for! Cornbread a little dry and cheese rolls were good. The waitress was attentive and knew her business, but honestly lacked personality. All her responses seemed practiced and often was removing items before we'd finished with them.

Elegant, award-winning steakhouse serving dry-aged prime beef, seafood & exceptional wines.
Wonderful steaks and great sides. Good selection of wines. Great bar at both locations. Although the Westheimer location has been open for decades I think I prefer the downtown restaurant. Food is great at both locales but downtown dining room seems more spacious.
