We came at 5;30. It was crowded. The warm bread and salads were great. My husband enjoyed the Out Law Rib Eye . I ordered The Napa Grilled Chicken. It was really salty.I hardly touched it. It was like someone just poured salt right on it. At 6;00pm It got really crowded . It was hard to get our server attention

I have been to Pete's many times and I can't figure the place out. They have very good to excellent food and the worst wait staff. This is not only my opinion but that of many of my friends who are diehard Pete's supporters. I My wife and I went in about a month ago and waited 20 minutes to get served. A waitress told us that she would be right over 3 times. The time before that we sat in the side room and nobody knew we were there. The only saving grace is the quality of the food that just makes the bad service sometimes worth the wait.

this place gets great reviews and has a large following-my god I don't know why-i tried eating there twice to be sure-prices were ok but food was terrible-i had eggplant parmigiana platter with roasted potatoes and string beans-and an antipasto salad-the eggplant p platter was nothing but eggplant pieces like you buy at s/r supermkt-put in a pan-a dash of sauce and sprinkled parmesan-it was not layered little sauce-the worst I have ever had-the roasted potatoes had no flavor-dark almost blackish color almost afraid to eat them-the antipasto salad was fair but stingy on the meat-i will just pay a little bit more and eat elsewhere-my son had a California hamburger it was ok but the sweet potato fries were so limp if you held it in the middle both ends would hang straight down-somebody please please tell me why they go there-there has to be a reason??????

Took family out for dinner. Service was excellent, soup and salad were delicious. However steaks were over seasoned, much too spicy, three of the family were unable to finish their meal. Mentioned the problem to server, who apologized and suggested that you mention less seasoning when ordering. That is something that should be pointed out on the menu.
