We were staying in Greenfield, and this time, we decided to try Montana Mike's.We were glad that we did. We both ordered the Mountain Topper which gives you the choice of a chopped sirloin (we ordered this) ....or grilled chicken breast topped with crumbled bacon and melted cheese....YUM! The sides were also very good and the rolls offered with cinnamon butter were fresh and tasty. In addition to the great food, the service and atmosphere was inviting and the place was nice and clean! If staying in this area again, we would not hesitate to return to Montana Mike's. 2 thumbs all the way up on this one!As always, be safe in your travels and Enjoy!J.
Where to eat American food in Greenfield: The Best Restaurants and Bars

We called ahead to see if the restaurant was offering anything for the veterans on Veterans Day, and indeed they were from 4-9 PM. We arrived about 4:45 PM, and they were pretty busy already. They kept the food entrees and salad bar very full, and nothing went empty. A decent selection of meats, salads and desserts. Food was good, but some of the foods could have been a bit hotter. Service was great from the beginning when ordering until we walked out the door. Everyone was very friendly. We will be back.

Located just north of downtown in a strip mall on the east side of the road. The focus is on hibachi dinners although a host of other dishes are available (appetizers, soups, vegetable and fish rolls, tempura and sashimi dinners). Hibachi dinner starts off with a good clear soup, followed by a small but satisfying vegetable salad. For rice, there is a choice between fried or steamed. The steamed rice eaten with yummi sauce (their's is great) is delicious. This is followed by hibachi vegetables followed by your choice of main course which might include combinations of vegetables, shrimp, chicken, scallops, salmon, lobster, or fillet mignon. All cooked as you like it, and in the $21 range. And, as usual, the chef has a few tricks up his sleeve. This hidden away gem may be the best Japanese restaurant I have eaten at!
