A great place for steaks, fish or chops. It's not cheap -- but the quality is excellent. Great service. Quiet atmosphere despite the communal setting. Best part of the visit is the bar, with a very wide selection of liquor. Had the filet mignon special and wasn't disappointed. Arrive early to take advantage of happy hour specials.

Great for steak and so much more⦠Black Angus Steakhouse has built its reputation on providing a Genuine American Steakhouse experience to remember. Our Chefs are proud to serve only Black Angus steaks that are carefully aged, fresh-cut daily, and grilled
The kitchen was behind and they were off on there steak temps. We did not send them back because we were hungry:). Also, my prime rib was butchered to death which was sad. I love a nice prime rib that melts in your mouth, but like I said, I think they were in the weeds, so we didnât complain. Our server was great. The appetizers were yummy, adult beverages were tasty, the Shirley Temple and Roy Roger for my kids were perfect, and the desserts were scrumptious. All in all, we had a nice dinner except for our steaks being a little over and hacked.

Every time I pass through Fresno, I make it a point to stop at my favorite steakhouse, Tahoe Joe's. My husband and I always order the dinner for two which includes an appetizer, 2 steaks, and a large slice of cheesecake for dessert. My favorite appetizer is no longer listed on the menu but is available upon request - I highly recommended the sauteed mushrooms. They come sizzling on a skillet on top of toasted bread - delicious! Their steaks are juicy and perfectly seasoned, no need for steak sauce! Cheesecake is a generous portion with a tasty thick graham cracker crust. I'm not a fan of cheesecake but this is the exception. Whether your are staying overnight in Fresno or just passing through on your way to somewhere else, make it a point to stop at Tahoe Joe's for dinner. You will not regret it!

This is a newly opened restaurant in the Fresno area.
This place is a little like Outback Steakhouse And Loganâs Roadhouse, but it works! Staff is well trained and friendly. Food is good with a pretty good steak. Lots to choose from the menu. A pretty good family place to eat but, can be a bit noisy on a busy night. Not the greatest location in Fresno, up north would have been a better choice, but never the less a pretty good place to eat.

Saw Cool Hand Lukeâs and knew we had to eat there. Thatâs our dogs name! That being said, we were pleasantly surprised right from the start. The Hostess was extremely friendly, along with the entire staff. We were there around lunch, catching a later flight out. Cool Hand Lukeâs was a great choice, great food, clean, friendly staff, and reasonably priced. We will definitely go back there when we fly back that way again. Itâs great to have a restaurant you can count on when traveling.

For the price, you expect excellent service and food. We recently had a Christmas get together with 8 of us and the little extra services were just not there. It seemed like forever before we had servers come by and acknowledge us. Although we had two servers and two assistants introduce themselves, our water glasses did not get filled timely. The bread has changed, that was an item we used to look forward to, that warm wonderful bread, but it is different now. The chicken, which I love, was dry. They have just lost their edge.Linda, thank you for your candid review. We strive for the highest brand standards in terms of quality, service and atmosphere and we are sorry to hear that we didn't exceed expectations. We would welcome the opportunity to earn back your business. Please send your contact information, including a phone number, to us at [email protected] so we may speak to you directly. Thank you!

Experience California-bistro dining in a place reminiscent of San Francisco, where the cuisine is accessible and the service is humble - not unlike Max's beginnings. In June of 1997 Scott Stanley opened Max's Market and Bakery (named after his son) on the
We came here a company dinner. The wine list and menu had great selections. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was very friendly and on it with our big group. We had some wonderful appetizers as well. We will definitely revisit this place in the future.Thank you! We will see you soon...
