Group of 5 family members had a great meal - good steaks, prawn cocktail, and goof value for money - a real meat fest. Small gripes would be waiter forgot to bring water when requested, even though in narrow street several vehicles passed quite close to tables during our meal, limited dessert menu and no coffee - first restaurant I have ever been told they didn't do coffee

We loved everything about our experience here. The service was top notch including our wine discussion. We ended up ordering gazpacho, fish soup, rocket (arugula) salad and mussels. Each dish was very delicious, but the fish soup and mussels were standouts. This is a new restaurant in a location which previously housed a French restaurant. I think it's a wonderful improvement.

I love this place!Firstly the location is lovely- in the square by the fountain so you can people watch till your heart is content.Secondly the steaks are the best Iâve had. We went for the platters both times and couldnât believe the quality. Absolutely delicious and so well cooked. You can opt for a VIP platter which will defeat even the most earnest meat lover!Finally the lady that has served us both times is so lovely and friendly!Weâve eaten here twice and tried other steak restaurants but this by far the best. Also great value for what you get.Also a nice cocktail menu available- what more could you need?!

We sat down at this restaurant as we were looking for a highly rated steak house as this is one trip advisor (not sure why).The drinks came after 10 mins of ordering and the childrenâs Fanta lemon had small pieces of mild on the label, which is not a good sign and I asked he waiter who was very polite but not experienced at all.Then we ordered the food. A starter came and the prawn lollipops were burnt and the childrenâs burger came out the same time as that starter, then a second main came out and then my starter came out, as we were all hungry we ate the food and the burger was red inside and we asked well done as childs burger (we ordered childrenâs spaghetti but they had no pasta at all in the kitchen ).So the children ate there food and we are waiting for our main, 30 minutes later it comes out and the steak was a light coloured meat and still very bloody for a medium with fries when we asked for potatoes, which they bought out when my partner was half way through her meal but the children would eat the fries as thereâs was not finished and they are waiting for us. My beef fajita Came out with no sauces which I had to explain to the waiter which he then bought out after 3/4 minutes wait and there was hardly any beef in the fajitas but we finished what we could and left the rest as it was late and we didnât want to have to go to another restaurant with the children this time of the evening.I then complained to the manager as the bill came and we explained about all the above throughout the meal as we were eating and now the bill was given and nothing was taken off so was full price of â¬100 for 2 children and 2 adults, he then deducted 3 sauces of â¬2 each when we only ordered one for the steak but were charged for 3.I would advise not to use this restaurant, very slow and disorganised and if you look through into the kitchen it looks disorganised and messy.

Have visited this area for a number of years but first time visiting Steak n Rib Shak. Very warmly welcomed and drink order taken/menu provided without delay. Tasty amuse bouche comprising garlic sausage and beautiful green olives served ( at no additional cost). Just had main courses on this occasion but sirloin steak was delicious as was the beef bourgignon. Very keenly priced given quality on offer. Will certainly return. While slightly off the beaten track worth the effort for sure.

After reading trip advisor reviews we decided to try this place, we booked on line as couldnât get through on the phone. On arrival we attempted to use our little Spanish and the girl who welcomed us - encouraged our Spanish and acknowledged that we where trying. After being shown to our table we where given menus from waitress. (No recommendations or specials - no help with vast wine menus) We opted for a starter to share as couldnât decide and wanted to save our appetite for main. Prawn croquettes lovely and crisp on outside and fluffy inside! YumFor main we where going to order separate meals but then decided on USA steak to share which comes to table ready for you to cook yourself on hot plate! Mmmmmm! Juicy, mouth watering and tasty! We had green salad/fries - red wine and pepper sauce (again we shared) Being very satisfied we decided to share a dessert - Gran Marnier pancake with ice cream! Fantastic food sensations!!!! 10/10 From the warm bread rolls To the creamed spinach Party of 9 Rib eye /fillet /chicken tenders Rocked out Chips cream potatoes Was all amazing we loved it not cheap but a great dinner !!!! Never had starters as the pate/jam with small squares of toasted bread and warm rolls sorted that donât think would have had room for starters anyway after the rib eye I had Iâm glad I never My steak was cooked to perfection 5 children in party and they loved it Like I said not cheap but great great food And waiters on top of everything Itâs a yes from me
