Worst steakhouse I've ever eaten in!! Tasted like a t-bone steak from a diner, awful fatty, gristly, sloppy overcooked mess on a plate. Sides were overpriced and loaded with butter and salt. The cooks all looked dirty and didn't wash their hands in the restroom plus they smoke outside near the kitchen. The host or manager, don't assume his gender was incredibly rude and tried to sugarcoat all the terrible dining experiences we encountered. The valet guy was sloppy and smelly and stunk up my car... Are you kidding me?I would never set foot near this trap again, and as I was leaving i saw several rats near the kitchen by the trash, absolutely disgusting. Go to Uncle Jacks!!!!

My wife and I visited Club A Steakhouse on a recent couple's visit to NYC. The rating on TripAdvisor got our attention (it was #1 in NYC at the time) and Bruno's story is an interesting one. The atmosphere is fantastic! They use fine details like real candles at every table and have a live two-string and saxophone band playing soft Jazz most of the time during dinner. Sets a great mood.We had salads to start and they were very good but not really exceptional. No complaints though.After the salads, and unsolicited, the chef provided a mushroom ravioli appetizer that was very good.Between this and the main course, there was a rather long wait. But we were chatting and enjoying the music.Then came the steaks and sides, we both had filet mignon and we got mac and cheese and mushrooms. The steaks were very well done with an excellent char on the outside and proper temperature inside.After the main course, again unsolicited, we were offered a variety of desserts. Tiramisu, chocolate cake and beignets. They were all good.All considered the meal was great. The only blemish being the long wait between the appetizer and the main course. We went with a large group (9 people) to say good-bye to family visiting NYC. Of course they were going back to Buenos Aires and to the amazing meat there, but...after a week of American-style food, we decided it was time to get them to this Argentine steak house for some good 'ol Argentine-style meat. Our great surprise was the pizza! It reminded me of the pizza I used to eat in Buenos Aires. Go there just for the pizza, all else is a huge plus. Dessert: Panqueques con dulce de leche: can't go wrong. Meat: skirt steak, the best!

We ordered the meat plate for two (the one without sausage, only different cuts of meat). The portions were acceptable, we both left full. The meat was not spiced or minimally, so you need the chimicuri sauce to add some flavor. The bread was soft and the rice my child had was moist. We asked for our meat medium well, but a few were still undercooked. The lulo juice was good as well as the Russian salad (potatoes, peas, carrots).They do need to have had more options for single meals which include a vegetable. You could order cuts of meat, sausage, etc separately and a salad, but everything was individually. My wife and I ended up getting a shared plate of meat for two which included two sides since we each couldn't order a smaller meat portion for ourselves and one side.The service was kind of slow, and when they brought out our dish it was the wrong one, so we had to again wait for a new platter to be cooked.Strollers are not allowed.

First of all: GRACE!!!! youre an amazing waitress, so kind and sweet. thanks so much for your service. We dine there over the weekend before catching a play... my husband had the lambchops and i had filet. Food was delicious, didn't taste processed was cooked to perfection. I'd say the only con (not even the restaurants fault) was that the way it's set up, sound travels. we were able to hear the drunk men that were sitting across the dining room so i found myself screaming over them to have a conversation with my husband. but overall, i'd definitely come back

This Argentinian steak restaurant is situated in Queens, in a neighborhood so full of different flavors. We had been here years ago and I am glad it is still here. Order a small steak , it is pretty big. Medium cooked is best. The margaritas were enormous and the avocado salad with watercress and shrimp is very interesting. Our friends had the American mixed grill and said everything was cooked to perfection; we had steaks and they were amazing as well. The chimichurri sauce adds a different zing to it. The sides were nothing to write home about ( I would have preferred a baked potato) but hey! We came for the steaks. The atmosphere and the service are nice too, not noisy and the servers are prompt. Park in the hospital parking across the street, have your server stamp your ticket and the parking is free. Very convenient.

This was my first time eating here and I wasn't disappointed. I went with my sister and a friend. I had the Matambre with potato salad and tongue salad. The others had short ribs and skirt steak with salad and sweet plantains. All was fresh and delicious. The flan needs some work and the volume of the music was so loud that we had to ask for it to be lowered and they obliged. The service was good!
