El Prat de Llobregat (Catalan pronunciation: [əɫ ˈpɾad də ʎuβɾəˈɣat]), commonly known as El Prat [əɫ ˈpɾat], is a municipality in the comarca of Baix Llobregat in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated in the delta of the Llobregat river on the right bank, bordering the coast of the Mediterranean Sea between Barcelona and Viladecans. More than a quarter of the area of the municipality is occupied by Barcelona–El Prat Airport. Apart from the transport links to the airport, the town of El Prat is served by a railway station on the coast line from Barcelona to Valencia. The municipality also has a beach and a small nature reserve at the Llac (Lake) de la Ricarda i del Remolar. El Prat is famous for its blue-legged chickens (known as gall potablava in Catalan). El Prat forms part of the metropolitan area of Barcelona.

Excellent stay at the Novotel Cornella,really nice restaurant Binomio. Alex and Carlos were really great at the restaurant recommended us traditional paella dish.it was really nice freshly made. Excellent customer service.The overall experience was great. My friends and I visited on a recommendation and we were blown away!!! What a fantastic little restaurant. I cannot understand why it was so quiet on a Saturday night, but very pleased that we managed to get a table. I will go back to Barcelona just to go back here again.We walked in and drinks were mixed at our table by the owner/chef, menus placed on the table and then picked up and taken away again with the agreement that whatever he brought we would be happy with - we had 1 vegetarian in the party. The starters just kept coming and everything was utterly delicious - from grilled cheese to various sausages to stuffed ravioli and many other wondrous delights. When we knew we would never fit in the main course if we had any more, we asked him to stop. He then brought THEEEE most amazing hunks of steak, which were incredible. Followed by a different cut of steak, which was also delicious. Again, if we hadn't said how full we were, heaven knows what would have arrived! Drinks flowed.....and the way he pours them is a lesson in itself, along with the superior type of gin and rum he was serving up. He then brought a plate of very small puddings for us to share - delicious. We left with all of us feeling that they really do not charge enough for such wonderful food. I cannot recommend Gauchitos Grill enough. If it were located more centrally, there would not be any possibility of getting a table.

This local low key restaurant is fantastic. We had meat on the grill and salad.Nothing more. The grill is brought to your table and you cook your meat as you wish.The quality of it was amazing. The chef is also something else, he is attentive to the customers and to the food, and is there making sure all is great. A character I am glad to have the chance to meet.If you are working in the area, or staying near by, don't miss it.
