Let me start saying that this restaurant was dirty. Kids room was completely dirty while manager and a full bunch of waitresses were standing doing nothing. I ordered a salad with meat and the salad was just terrible. This was the worst Spur in East London Dear Paolo M,Thank you for taking the time to review our Spur Restaurant. The quality of the food was good but the service was pathetic. The waiter was missing most of the time and we finally had to call the manager who wasn't much better either. It's a pity as this place has the potential to be great.

Great atmosphere and great food! I had the chicken strips and hand cut chips which were to die for! The chicken was so juicy and tender. My husband had a gigantic monstrous burger! The patties were not the usual bulk bought pre-made things you buy in supermarkets, it was a hand made pure beef patty, the burger is highly recommendable.We did a beer tasting and fell in love with the Amber Ale with its smokey tones and rich flavor. Love the experience!

After my last review the manager of the spur contacted me and apologised for the terrible time we had experienced. He invited us to visit and eat there again so my husband and I did so and we had a fantastic waitron and she was really great we ordered and didn't wait for long and our order arrived the music in the background was peaceful and not to loud and this time the floor manager came around while we were eating and asked if all was ok we enjoyed our meal and thank the manager for his concern and contact with us.Dear Sandra D,Thank you for taking the time to review our Silver Eagle Spur Family Restaurant. Perfect venue to sit outside in a sheltered spot and enjoy the delicious beer and food. The beer is brewed on-site and is exceptional. The atmosphere has the feeling of being outside in a garden and relaxing and enjoying the sunshine. The food is great and my overall experience is a memory I will enjoy for a long time. Staff and service really good. Staff are friendly and efficient.

Great dinner.Lovely clean restaurant.Excellent, attentive service.One of our group has tricky dietary needs and they went out of their way to help with meal choices.Booking over the weekend seems like a wise move - the restaurant was full on Friday night.First time visitors, parking is a little tricky with street parking shared between a few establishments in Beach Road. Car guards can be a little demanding, if you are to give them a tip, have it ready before heading back to your vehicle. Steak, risotto, skinny fries, pork belly - all delicious.Save some space for dessert - chocolate gateau is a must have

This spot always lives up to expectation. From the fully stocked bar with a reasonable wine selection to what can only be described as fine dining, this restaurant is to be recommended. The steaks are simply amazing and the starters are delightful. (Especially the snails). All meals in our group of 8 were served to perfection, warm and served at the same time. The Irish coffees to round off the meal were also superb. Service was efficient and friendly. Well done to all.
