Reviews on Steakhouse food in Dublin, Province of Leinster, Ireland. You've probably heard that Guinness tastes better in Dublin (fresh from the factory), but what you may not know is that Dublin is a perfect destination for the whole family. No, we're not suggesting you let the kiddies drink a pint. Instead, take them to the Dublin Zoo, to feed the ducks in Stephen's Green or on a picnic in Phoenix Park. Scholars enjoy walking in the literary footsteps of such writers as Yeats and Joyce, while discerning shoppers have their pick of designer boutiques.

Voted the NO 1 Bar by Trip Advisors in Jan 2016 !!!! The Lotts consists of a lounge and a bar. The lounge is modern with mosaic tiled ceilings and floors and beautiful chandeliers, where the bar is a rustic old style Irish snug bar ( Also the smallest bar
I am sitting in the cafe as I write this. My first post in trip advisor. I am a frequent traveller and been enough restaurants. This is not a busy day at all. It took 40mins for the food to deliver. The staff are untrained!! Food looks good but destroy the whole experience. Not recommend if you are hungry Hi AlbertWe recall you sitting at table #12 and in my opinion I think a few things are missing from your one sided review 1- the actual correct time you waited for your surf & turf and your burger was 28 minutes . 2-This was not bad considering there was an international football match on that day3-You cleared your plates and told staff everything was great So my main question is WHY have people lost the value of conversation to express any grievances/ exaggerated grievances on the spot and decide to do a nasty review instead WHILE SITTING IN THE RESTAURANT???????? I am lost YoursDave @ The Lotts

My â¬50 bone-in ribeye was just too sinewy to justify. Well-cooked - Pittsburg MR, as requested - but ultimately unsatisfying. Everything else was good:Service Setting/SpaceSides (beef-dripping chips were right on)Oysters - super plump n freshClubby pub-kinda place. But Id go to Tomahawk again instead, next time

Several of us ordered the ribeye off the bone. It was Ok but too tough to justify the â¬28 price tag. We also asked for chips instead of mash potato but we were given the mash along with the chips (which we were then charged for). That wasn't a huge problem but we would have expected a substitution. Overall service was very good but too expensive for the quality of what was served. Maybe it was an off night

We were having dinner at the Boeuf, and really enjoyed it. the location of the restaurant is really good we were sitting outside, which was nice. The steak was really good, and loved the fact that you can add grilled raclette. the veggie tofu steak was also good.loved all the possibilities of potatoes as side dishes, was difficult to choose, but all the options we tried were perfect. really best place in Dublin for meat.

Food = excellentMenu = extensive enough, make sure to ask your waiter about specials because those are not on the menuService = attentive, fastPrices = averagePlace = smallLocation = off the main streetsPersonal experience = I visited with my colleague. When asked about a recommended dish, we were offered a strip line steak 400gr with potatoes and light Italian beers. The waiter was very funny. Overall, this was a super end for my long day...

Enjoyed a dinner here, and we had a really nice evening! The place has a cool and welcoming atmosphere, the staff is skilled, polite and friendly and the burger with excellent Irish beef was very delicious; the prices were also reasonable. It was worth to visit!

The concierge in our hotel recommended this restaurant when we were unsuccessful getting reservations at a more popular traditional Irish restaurant. We made reservations for 7:30 via OpenTable. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated immediately. The restaurant was buzzing with groups of locals apparently just off from work. The noise level was high. Something that would usually turn me off, but there was a certain energy that made me feel we were part of a friendly gathering. If you are looking for a quiet conversation, you might book at off peak times. However, you will miss the true ambiance of this restaurant. Our server greeted us promptly and took our drink order. We perused the menu and our drinks arrived. I suggest that you view the menu online as I did. We placed an order for Prawn Lollipops as a starter. I ordered the Halibut and my wife the steak. My side dish was tomatoes, avocado, and olives. My wife chose polenta and mushrooms. The true magic began when the starter arrived. The prawn were partially cooked on a skewer. In the middle of the plate was a very hot rectangular stone. Our server instructed us to heat the prawns on either side for about two minutes. They sizzled and became delicious. Perfect. Our entrees arrive in like manner, ready to heat up on individual stones. All of the food was delicious. Each dish having sauces or extras that enhanced the taste.Even if you are full, check out the unique deserts. All in all the food and service was superb. It is hard to describe the entire dinner experience other than saying it was Simply Wonderful

While in Dublin we walked from our hotel to a local pub which was very small and crowded. We walked through the crowd to a back door where we saw steps leading to a restaurant upstairs. That was the Sussex which is separate from the pub. Later we realized that there was an entrance to the restaurant we had missed. The L shaped room is dominated by a bar and a see through to the kitchen where we watched three chefs busily preparing food. We shared a tomato-mozzarella salad and an order of seafood linguini that was loaded with shrimp, mussels and hunks of fish. It was delicious as was the bread that accompanied the dinner. The manager and our server were both friendly and informative. It was a great finale to our Irish trip!

Yes two out of three excellent but should be ALL THREE. My wife and daughter thoroughly enjoyed their steaks whereas mine was so so very salty it was inedible. Even my wife who loves her salt tasted and agreed!!We also had sides of mushrooms which were perfect but the creamed spinach was a tasteless disappointment. Service was faultless and despite my own disappointment I will be back but will forewarn against over salting. So unnecessary.
