We've been here in the past, and I have to say we were a bit disappointed in our last dinner here. The prices seem to have creeped up, but the quality has fallen off. Our escargot were tasteless, and served over a piece of bread that we could not cut with a knife. My dinner partners pasta tasted of heavy cream and nothing else. For two the bill was over $100. They have a nice selection of local craft beers, and the ambiance was OK. We felt a bit rushed as we were not seated until 8, and it was clear the staff was ready to leave at 9 even through we had barely finished our meals. Asking for coffee was painful. We've had a much better experience here in the past.

My husband, daughter, and I went to Hoss's for lunch. We all had the soup, salad, bread, and dessert bar. Additionally, my husband and I added a hamburger to our meal for only $1.99. There were 5 soups to choose from. They were delicious. One of my favorites at the bread bar is homemade cinnamon bread with icing and is served with extra icing available. The salad bar, bread bar, soup bar, and dessert bar are always in excellent condition. Someone is always restocking and cleaning these areas. The service was excellent. Our waitress said she worked at Hoss's 22 years. You could tell that she really enjoys her job. When we visit Messiah College, we usually eat at Hoss's.
