Surf and Turf is a very nice steakhouse in the Westend Nord area, close to Gruneberg Park. Same ownership of M Steakhouse and practically same menu. Athmosphere is a bit different with more outside space in Spring/Summer time and in my view less cosy setting inside. Service is professional. Fillet and tartare are absolute musts. Very expensive though.

After visiting the Hessenpark Open Air Museum, we were looking for a good place to eat and stumbled upon this delightful restaurant in nearby Neu-Anspach. Although they don't open until 5:30, the owner, Sylvia (who speaks perfect English) greeted us warmly and invited us inside so my grandson wouldn't be too cold waiting on the patio. Sylvia and her Moroccan husband, who is the chef, could not have been friendlier or more attentive. When they learned we were traveling with a dog, Sylvia (a holistic vet in her day job!) insisted that we bring him inside. The owners welcoming style was second only to the incredible food. Although one of the restaurant's specialties is beef, we opted for the fish. The complimentary starter set the tone for an incredible meal of salmon and sole, which was expertly filleted at the table. While this would not be considered a restaurant for someone on a tight budget, we could not have enjoyed this meal more!

The location is very close to center.Very old restaurant since 1973.We ate tenderloin steak and it was perfect, soft and delicious.They have sirloin , striploin , tenderloin and rib eye steaks.Salads are also welldone.Prices are ok .They have outdoor and indoor tables.Service is fast and helpfull.

Exceptional place in a unexpected location. The neighborhood itâs not that nice, but KABUKI itâs completely another story! A real Teppanyaki experience with real wagyu beef.. many other Japanese delicatessen.. and a very wide wine card. Hashimoto San, the sommelier, suggest me an amazing burgundy Pinot noir form a Maison run by a Japanese family (another surprise!) and a very intense Japanese whisky.. this place really remember me my favorite place in Tokyo.. the Shekishin Tei teppanyaki at New Otani Hotel.. KABUKI itâs probably the best Teppanyaki experience I ever find in Western Europe.

This is a really expensive place. A very expensive place. Over the top you-will-pay-at-least-a-hundred-Euro-here kind of place. It didn't make sense to me at all - my small, flavour-wise unbalanced, and not-what-was-described-in-the-menu starter was the same price as a huge (and oh mother of God was it huge) portion of ribs that could have fed 3 people easily. Such a waste of food because of course no one can finish a plate like that on their own! The experience overall was just a mess. I wouldn't go here again.

We had lunch outside on a sunny day and the square has a touch of Mediterranean flair on market day. The waitresses were very friendly and efficient. Attention is paid to detail, everything is clean and there are little touches like a slice of lime in the coke and a little basket of bread with the salad. Presentation is excellent and the menu is varied.We chose from the lunch menu - beef medallions with 3 different sauces, served with chips and a small salad. The beef was very tender and clearly excellent quality. I was not keen on the salad dressing and I was not offered any choice. The favours were good, but not quite a 5 star for me.I would revisit this restaurant, especially with anyone who loves steak as there is a huge selection.

We visited the Legacy for the third time in two years. The quality of food and beverages are still top-notch. The service is professional, very friendly and highly attentive. This time Jenni was our host and she made the evening very special. On the kitchen side we ordered the "Taste of Legacy" starter plate, which was delicious. We then ordered the pulled pork ravioli with a very tasty white tomato sauce. Again delicious. The spare ribs literally fell from the bone and were the best ribs we have ever had. The restaurant is highly frequented, so a reservation is definitely recommended.
