This was my first visit. Service was absolutely spot on--genuinely friendly, rapid but not pushy and food was hot at every step. Had the ribeye--well seasoned although a little fatty and thin in my opinion--but tasty nonetheless. Prices are also quite reasonable. Will definitely look to return.

Arrived for the first time at College Station from overseas last night, here to support our friends sending their son to A&M. Everyone through the day kept recommending âThe Republicâ for a great meal, great service and atmosphere. The Atmosphere was nice, the food good, but, the service (Server) ruined the evening. Having lived overseas for over 10 years, nothing beats coming home to the USA, going to a place like âThe Republicâ for a good USA dining experience. Having a great host staff and good food is only a part of the experience. In our case, other servers apologized for ours not yet greeting our table as they did their best to get things moving for us. Once arriving, our server seemed put off that he was our server, he appeared to believe he was above us and felt he knew better how our friends wanted their drinks and meals then they did. This patronizing attitude continued through the entire evening. That is between 2000 -2200 21 Aug.It is my opinion that there needs to be a customer service discussion reminding staff that every customer is important and that you never know who you are serving. Until then, no recommendation from us. Out of respect for Mr. Beckman and his vision to create âThe Republicâ, we will give it another go but for now only as option 2.

We typically visit the Longhorn Tavern Steak House at least once a month. The service is friendly and attentive and the food is good. This downtown restaurant is located a block from the Brazos County Courthouse and it is popular with courthouse employees, downtown merchants, and "old Bryan." I do not recall ever entering this popular restaurant where I did not see someone I knew.

Texas Roadhouse is a steak restaurant providing legendary food with legendary service. Texas Roadhouse specializes in hand-cut steaks, fresh-baked bread, fall-off-the-bone-ribs, and made-from-scratch sides. We also serve ice cold beer and legendary margar
Again Texas Roadhouse has served great steaks. We love Texas Roadhouse. This one has has the same great steaks. We both had 6 oz sirloin steaks served just the way we like them. I prefer medium rare and my wife prefers medium. Texas Roadhouse definitely knows the difference. Both of us had very good salads which are served cold and fresh. I love the baked sweet potato loaded. It is a great combination.I will say our service was OK. The waitress disappeared for awhile and I ran out of ice tea. She did finally come back around and bring a fresh iced tea. I am a little picky about keeping my drink refilled. There was not a long time without tea but long enough I can't say the service was excellent.Other than the long time between table checks we enjoyed our visit to this Texas Roadhouse. Their food is always good.
