We were booked for this cooking class through Mario Fortini of Bellarome Travel Agency so we had no idea what to expect. Mario did a great job because this was awesome! We had a very nice ride through Tuscany to get here. The staff was fun and friendly. We made home made fettuccini, Bolognese sauce, rosemary pork loin and Tiramisu for dessert. Everything was wonderful, some of the very best food I had in Italy. All the time we were cooking, we sampled wine (may be why the food tasted so good!) We had an excellent wine tasting that was informative and included some very good wine. Overall, this was a great day, I'll definitely make the recipes we prepared here because they were so simple and I look forward to enjoying the wine we ordered from them.Dear Becky, we thank you so much for your kind words. We are so happy you enjoyed our cooking class, lovely welcome of Bottega TorcianoFamily. We are thrilled you had a great time by us! You really understand our spirit and passion for wine! Thank you and we hope to see you again! You are always welcomedHave a nice day

It's not your usual Butcher shop, it's much more indeed. You are definitely in for an unexpected treat when you visit the Macelleria Francini, and a very pleasant one. Yes, the name says "Butcher Shop" but inside is a quaint restaurant with amazing fresh food - the carpaccio and tartare were favorites of locals. We enjoyed cuts and wine and a fine time. ...

We returned here for dinner after several years of dining here with family, and we loved it. Absolutely such a delight and experience, we watched the sunset as we dined around 7:30pm, along the Tuscan countryside, the view was beautiful, and they even had Andrea Bocelli playing in the background. Truly a scene out of a movie. The prices are a bit expensive, but the experience is truly excellent, the service is phenomenal. They were extremely attentive and polite. The food was wonderful, the Tuscan specialty appetizer was great. The risotto with saffron was a bit salty, but still tasty. The tagliatelle with truffle was divine, and the bistecca fiorentina was great! great to share between 2 people. The dessert was also delicious, and they gave us a gift of bottle of wine which was so nice. We love this restaurant and can't wait to return. Thank you for an incredible evening!

Here you can enjoy in a beautiful dreamy and elegant panorama inside the Chianti Tuscan dishes and creations of the chef, fresh pasta and gourmet, enjoy the good wine produced in the vineyards produced as Chianti and Vernaccia, extra virgin olive oil.
We popped in this little apartment village one night - what a treat! A huge and very thin crispy fresh pizza - some great salad and all served by a very nice Italian. What's to say.... just amazing and for practically nothing!! I think it cost us about 10 euros each and yet in some ways it was one of the best meals we had throughout our stay - marvellous! We will now try to stay in the Village as the apartments look lovely and the price is so good.
