They didn't miss a beat. The service was impeccable. They delivered every course of our meal at the precise time. As if they were in perfect synchronization with the chef. Our servers we're attentive without being intrusive. They are, or should be, the status bar on how to serve your patrons. Our meal was equally as excellent. I had the sword fish in bearnaise sauce. My husband had the Porterhouse steak. For appetizers we had the sautéed mushrooms in a buttery herb sauce. Simply fantastic! As for the ambience, I like the old school vibe this place has. It's nice that they have retained their classic style. The dim lighting and candlelight dining is pretty cool. KC's steakhouse is a great place for a cozy, romantic dinner. No wonder they were featured on the Food Channel. They are that good!

We were a party of 10, we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. They serve a welcome bread once you been seated, the bread is hot and delicious.I ordered the ribeye bone in with chicken tortilla soup and French fries, they all were good, our server was polite and attentive. Their prices are mid range.

We were driving back home and stopped by the TR for lunch on a whim. It turned out to be worthy of a food break. We were seated promptly, orders were taken quickly, and refreshments were served per our orders. The TVs and noise levels were tolerable and we enjoyed sitting in an elevated booth.

Menu has everything from pasta, steaks to tacos and tortas. Also suggests itâs brazilian fusion...itâs just confusing.Prices range between steakhouse prices to inexpensive...Its just confusing.People were dressed from suits to shorts...Itâs just confusing.Service was good. Pork barbaroca was okay. Beans ok but rice was over cooked and mushy.Jazzy style band started playing on the stage about 7.Tables are well spaced and seems to be space for some dancing but I didnât see any.

This restaurant was within walking distance to a hotel we were staying at. The hotel was not good ( see review for Extended Stay America) but the restaurant was. They have outside seating where we sat and had a drink with our dog. Later on we came back and had dinner. My fried chicken salad was excellent as was the brownie dessert we shared. My husband loved the bread that came with the salad. I would come back to the restaurant , but skip the hotel.

We went for the music and had good food as well. Lots of fun when the music is on. I had the wedge salad and my wife had a salmon salad. They have a large menu including burgers, ribs and steak.

Pyrenees Cafe opened in 1901 is one of the oldest Basque Restaurants in Bakersfield, Ca. We Serve Family Style so that means setting down like you would at you Grandmothers house on Sunday. All of our Menu items are made from scratch and made to order. So
I was attracted to the Pyrenees Cafe because of their versatile menu online. There's something to appeal to nearly everyone. For the lunch and dinner entrees, you can order a full Basque meal (which means more courses), or a trimmed down American version. If you don't want a full meal, there are sandwiches, salads and burgers. Rather than sit at the communal tables, I opted to sit in a booth in the bar area with the locals. Service is not swift, but it's friendly. The server was very helpful in explaining the menu - and in making recommendations. She recommended the lamb chops over the beef/steak options. And I'm so glad she did. They were incredible!! The onion rings that accompanied the chops were very good as well. And the salad before the entree was very good - lots of variety in the salad - with a delicious house vinaigrette dressing.I can't say much for the mixed drinks here. The gin and tonic I ordered was mostly tonic. This is more of a beer joint.I'm looking forward to returning to this cafe when I'm in Bakersfield to try other options on the menu.

I go here a lot with both of my ladies luncheons, but today's steak was exceptionally tender and delicious. It is always good; I get the $9.99 teriyaki sirloin. But today was so delicious I had to tell everyone. I could cut it with my fork. the customer service was bad, but the chef was right on! you HAVE to buy a beverage (coffee or tea for $3.25) YIKES. It does drive the bill up, but again this compared to expensive steaks I've had elsewhere. Why the high price on a beverage?? Robbery!. I'd give this a 5 for the meat, but had to lower the rating due to the terrible price for a beverage that they MAKE you buy to use the coupon..Your visits are truly valued, and it's nice to hear that you always have good food and received an exceptionally great steak at your recent visit! However, we're saddened you didn't have a five-star experience. Your feedback regarding beverages is appreciated, and we will be sure to share it with our leadership team. It's our hope that you'll continue to visit for delicious meals. Respectfully, Jacquie W., Guest Relations Manager

Serving the best Prime Rib, Steaks and Seafood in town. Full Bar with a great wine list. Happy Hour Mon-Fri 2pm-6pm. Outdoor patio seating and Banquet room seating up to 80 people.
My second visit in the last 3 weeks. Steaks and Prime Rib were great. Nice wine selection. Loved the place, especially for being a chain. But the servers have a bad habit of interrupting our conversations. Gave it a secind chance. Different server, sane problem. I won't be going back again. Ricky, we are sorry to hear that you felt unheard. We would like to apologize for any ill feelings you left with, and do hope that we can have another chance to regain your business. On a high note, we are so happy that you enjoyed your meal, and appreciate our wine selection. Team Hungry Hunter
