Fleming's Walnut Creek, CA is an ongoing celebration of exceptional steak and wine. Located in Contra Costa County in the East Bay down from the Broadway Plaza Shopping Center off the 680 freeway.
Because we both work there was no time this week to celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary.....on a guess I contacted Fleming's who were able to give us a table on the very last minute. We had a reservation within 30 minutes of when I called in and the service was impeccable add to it the outstanding food and it was a very special evening for us both.My husband had the ribeye steak along with a side of spectacularly good rainbow carrots. I had the French onion soup and carpaccio for my main meal and everything could not have been better. Cocktails, wine were absolutely fabulous and we really appreciate the outstanding service!!

My husband's choice for his birthday. We were warmly greeted by the front of the house, and everyone else working here despite a busy Saturday night. Seared ahi tuna and Australian Wagyu filet were perfectly prepared and presented as were all other dishes. Excellent service from all, especially our waiter Sergio. We plan to return. This is a good choice for a special event. Great wine choices. Finished with sorbet and complimentary dessert samples.

We've always had great dining experiences here with excellent service and great food. This time, things seemed a little off with our server not really on top of the game. Everything we ordered was delicious; the bone-in filet mignon, the ravioli appetizer, the mushrooms, and the creamed spinach were all prepared excellently. It did take a little longer than normal for our main dishes to come out; there's a leisurely pace and then there's slow, and this time seemed the latter. I had the scrumptious cheesecake; rich and creamy, but I think it could've used a bit more of the raspberry coulis. My came without the usual offer of sugar and so I asked for some. Minutes later, no sugar. I finally saw our server and asked again for the sugar after which it finally came. It's little things like that that make a dining experience great or not; I had to ask for sugar twice when I should have had to ask at all. I will say that their servings are huge; I ate about half of everything and took the rest home, which made for a nice meal the next day. We'll be back but hoping for a better experience.

Stumbled across this place while Danville. It is set back from the main strip so you will have to keep your eyes open. The place is clean and friendly and well-equipped with HDTVs. Menu is tavern-typical. We shared a chopped salad and "build your own" pizza. Both were fresh and good sized portions. Owner and waitress were friendly and we felt well cared for. Definitely would make this a regular stop. An excellent place to rehydrate after hiking Mt. Diablo
