It is situated to the north-east of the capital Colombo. It is the sixth largest urban area in Western Province, after Colombo, Negombo, Kalutara, Panadura and Avissawella. Gampaha is also the second largest urban centre in Gampaha district, after Negombo. According to the facts of central index prepared by urban development authority (UDA), Gampaha develops around 95% although the population is less than in Negombo. Gampaha has a land area of 25.8 hectares and is home to the offices of 75 government institutions.

A good place to have your Lunch and dinner. It takes some time to have arranged the food. But it's worth to wait. Both dine-in and take away are available. if you are planning to take away better to place your order before 30 minutes. The ground floor is for Dine-in and the upper floor is for Bar.

Just about 15 km from Bandaranayake International Airport on Gampaha road just before Udugampola town you can find this restaurant. It has well set Bar facilities all local and foreign liquor delicious food served on request at quick as possible. I recommend this as a unique restaurant in Gampaha District.

Letona Yakkala is one of the most famous place to have a meal . As this place is more tourist oriented, price seems to be bit higher.Usually most of the time we take away our food and they are always delicious.Service is somewhat poor as they take a long time to deliver food
