Find out what Spanish restaurants to try in Tres Cantos. Tres Cantos is a Spanish municipality in the province and Community of Madrid, situated 22 km to the north of the capital. Tres Cantos' location is highly desirable because of its location, near Monte del Pardo, in the south, and in Viñuelas. As a "satellite city" of Madrid conceived by urban planners in the 1970s, it is the youngest incorporated municipality in the Community of Madrid, with a population (2012 National Statistics figures) of approximately 41,065. Tres Cantos was the Spanish bid host city for the 2018 Ryder Cup. However, residents showed poor popular support (the event was finally awarded to Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, France).

We had dinner last night at this interesting place located in Tres Cantos, north from Madrid. We had amazing "croquetas", an average goat cheese salad, great "huevos estrellados" with chorizo sauce and finally a rice with rabbit and snails, flavorful and perfectly cooked. Portions are generous and prices very reasonable. Lacks a dessert menu and they should add some sweet choices. Service was quick even though the terrace was full. El Vermu is worth the trip if you are looking for nice tapas with a nice twist. Highly recommended!

This was our 1st visit to the area, we were staying with friends locally, who introduced us to Mary Carmen's restaurant. Booking was existential as it was extremely busy all evening.Four of us where dinning, and we decided to share two courses. A whole octopus was delivered to our table, it looked amazing as our waiter carefully cut it up in front of us in mouth sized bites, covering it in olive oil, rock salt and spices. The taste was truly amazing, very tender - simply delicious! Our next course was "steak on a stone". A large plate of thinly sliced beef steak, which we each cooker individually, to our liking.Again this was just delicious! The wine, the service and general atmosphere completed what was a highly memorable evening. Also mega recommended was the FABULOUS Irish Coffee.Great value for money. The best Gin Tonic I ever hadThe prices are not low, but the quality of the food justifies the prices. A definite recommendation and a two-thumbs-up!

Very nice restaurant with good food and friendly service. We had some starters to share and than the lamb and pork which was very nice. Also a small but nice selection of wines by glas and bottle are offered. It is for sure not the cheapest restaurant in Tres Cantos but absolutely worth the money. I would also reccomend to reserve a table especially during the weekend.

At 11euros for 3 courses all serviced fast and friendly. The food wont win any awards nor will the beef wow you for tenderness but the price matches that. By far the best menu del dia in Madrid.

We were a group of 3, and we very happily impressed since the beginning. Service was nice and caring and food was good (wine choice is short but of decent quality - we had Ribera del Duero and we all enjoyed it)Couple of things have let me down, croquettes were a tad cold in the middle and too soft. My turbot was a bit under. Still enjoyed thou...Overall it was good!

I've been here twice (last year and this year) for business dinner. Both times really good food and very good service.Even though the communication with the waiter is sometimes difficult (I don't speak Spanish, they only speak little English), everything was working really well and they really try to serve you best.Good choice!

Our business lunch was such a wonderful experience : we will all remember one of our French colleague's enthusiasm discovering Spanish food, and the wonderful solomillo, those amazing tapas we shared and no less amazing deserts, my tong still has the chocolate in memory! Service was excellent, everything perfect, I highly recommend this place, definitely my favorite in Madrid surroundings.

This is the first time I have been here, and surely not the last one. We went four people and all of us we finished with the same opinion, everything was super!! Good quality food, very professional service and quiet atmosphere. Highlight "pimientos del piquillo rellenos de carabineros" and "Merluza rellena de Txangurro"I recommend it 100% and I will be back very soon!
