This isn't the sort of place for a cosy meal for a small group but if you're celebrating with a large circle of friends and family, this may be an interesting choice. If there are children then that makes it even better. There is space for them to run and play but make sure they don't go running down the stairs, which can be dangerous. The stairs lead to a bar lounge, where dancing can take place. Enquire for details. I was there in a part of about 100 people or so on a pre-arranged set menu including "free bar" and dancing. With large groups and a set menu, it's unfair to judge the quality of food. What I had was average - edible but easy to forget about after. Tops for service and the open spaces. Free parking, too.

This quiet part of Gran Canaria without the hustle and bustle of tourist in January. Reminded us of a restaurant in the local village despite the language barrier on our part the staff were very helpful. We ordered the Risotto which was a delightful local dish. my partner ate a cheese salad with raspberry sauce which was also a great dish. We attended this place at late in the evening but this appeared to be not a problem. Good affordable prices, good size portions and not an issue for the staff waiting for us to finish our meal late that evening. Job well done good service, thank you

We arrived in Telde late in the evening, needed to eat and were told it was excellent. It was. Itâs very small but they packed 6 of us on the terrace, the waiter coped with our non existent Spanish manfully and provided us with a lovely supper, the tuna was fresh and the egg and potatoes dish was the favourite. Very reasonably priced, friendly staff, lovely setting in the square

Small local but very cozy, we have a great variety of wines, alcoholic drinks etc .., dishes to share between 2 and 4 diners. We have highchairs for children and some other dishes for them. Our menu is varied, we offer dishes for vegetarians including veg
This small little restaurant is a bit of a hidden gem. The place must hold no more than 20 people but we didn't book and had no problems getting a table. The quietly spoken waiter was pleasant enough and we sat opposite the tiny kitchen and watched the expert chef work his magic. We had four courses (two starters and two mains). Each was brought to us a dish at a time and by the fourth dish we'd realised we'd probably ordered a one too many as we were now getting very full and we struggled to finish it. The highlight was the Asparagus & Chorizo Revueltos which was truly amazing. The two mains, chicken and then veal hamburgers were both tasty but there was just too much meat and not enough vegetables. We didn't have any wine but the shelves were stocked with bottles and there looked to be quite a selection. The final bil was very cheap and we thought the food was amazing value for money. Recommend

El restaurante La Rubia se encuentra situado en primera lÃnea de playa en Melenara, Telde. La cocina del restaurante se fundamenta en platos tÃpicos canarios donde los principales protagonistas son los productos del mar (pescados y mariscos frescos) aunqu
We love fresh seafood cooked simply, to let the freshness of the protein shine; consequently, we greatly enjoyed our meal here. Wife and I shared the spicy garlic prawns and a whole wreck fish simply cooked with garlic. The fish was cooked perfectly and the prawns were also good. We would highly recommend visiting his restaurant if youâre in the neighborhood. Itâs right by the Neptune statue, which is the reason we were there.

Found La Tunera by accident, as we payed Telde a brief visit. It is located in a side street, easy to miss, if one doesn't know of the place. The place serves creative cuisine, some may call it 'fusion'. We were impressed by the 'Queso Herreño al Horno with tomato marmelade and the 'Pollo Crujiente con alioli al curry y chips de batata'. For dessert we had 'Cremoso de Chocolate', a chocolate cream, served with a hint of olive oil and sprinkled with black salt. How amazing is that! All the food was skillfully arranged and decorated, the service was very attentive and even translated the whole menu from Spanish to English. Portions are small, but since they are also moderately priced, we recommend you to order two or three items plus dessert, you wont regret it! We shared each dish. The staff did not seem to mind. For us it was a great way to try a couple of different dishes. One of the best restaurants I've visited over the last couple of years!

These people really care about food! Worth travelling for, and exceptionally good value we had main courses and shared a starter and dessert (to die for!), + a couple of drinks all for less than â¬40, excellent service and advice from eager to please staff.

We had a daily menu for EUR 10. It includes two courses (starter & main dish - selection from 4 meals), bread, drink (wine, beer, ...) and a dessert. Food was ok, portions were big. Service could be faster, but ok.
