This is a very nice place, although I would recommend to bring a jacket if you are going in the evening, as all the tables are outside, which is lovely when it is still sunny, but can get chilly when the sun goes down and there is wind. The food is excellent! They are medium sized dishes to be shared (larger than tapas), and they are absolutely superb!Very friendly service as well.

the place is not so bad and really pleasant, the decoration is perfect and the food is really excellent, for the one love a specific type of food. We loved spending time and eating spicy food in front of Mexican bear in this simple restaurant. the service is standard but not bad, every week the owner proposed some special, typical Mexican cuisine, once we tried the Cactus salad it was amazing.

We were walking and saw the restaurant. The food was really good, entree was delicious, the main course which was a entrecôte was cooked perfectly only missing a little bit of salt. Dessert was really nice! Staff was helpful even thought they dont speak english or spanish. I will definitely go again!!

It is excellent, and I am extremely glad they finally opened a good wine bar at Baiona. Nice place by the riverside, i did not try their "pintxos" but seemed quite good. The wine list was not long but it was lovely. A must if you like wine.

A limited choice in a restaurant usually means, in my opinion, homemade and fresh. And this was definitely the case here. Very good, typically Basque food in a charming setting with artwork by local artists lining the walls. The absolute opposite of a tourist trap. Great service and a great atmosphere.

The food is home-made in the sense that there is actually a cook on-site who actually prepares the fresh, simple, and tasty food. The other person working in the restaurant was a friendly, helpful, and available waiter. We had a half-bottle of locally-produced rosé wine, and started off with a charcuterie: an assortment of local hams and sausages. The assortment was good, varied and plentiful â we couldnât finish for fear of not being able to fit in the main course. One dish of the main course was a duck parmentier: a sort of shepherdâs pie, served with a side of lettuce hearts with a balsamic vinaigrette. The lettuce was a perfect complement to the cheesy parmentier. The other dish was âbarâ or sea bass, in this case the entire fresh fish grilled with just the right touch of garlic and a lovely leek fondue on the side. All for a moderate price. The entire experience was delightful.

We were cycling from Capbreton and decided to stop here for lunch instead of carrying on to Bayonne. Food, service and timing between courses were impeccable. The best Moules à la plancha I've ever had. Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. The views are special and we will be back.

Visited in september 2015, we ordered two entrecotes and enjoyed them. The service is also good and the place offers free wifi. Watch out for the pigeons though, they're very demanding! :)

You need to be a carnivore to enjoy this temple to the art of the roast and shrine to the foie gras ( fait maison). The helpings are large and beautifully presented. We had starters of foie gras and lamb sweetbreads with girolles. Both excellent . Then cote de veau roti and beef fillet with cooked foie gras served with peas in a casserole of lardons and juice . We couldn't manage dessert but it looked very good. Price was 38⬠each including an offered aperitif and pate. Great food and very good value .
