We decided on Mexican cuisine for lunch and chose Wholly Frijoles which is east of Pulaski Rd. on Touhy Ave. There is parking behind the store, as well. We were seated quickly, and, I think we were lucky, as we were just before lunch. Chips and salsa were brought to the table and Ricky took our drink order. After going over the menus, we decided on enchiladas, as well as the pechuga pollo de rellena which were two stuffed chicken breasts. The order was brought quickly and the food was really, really good. The chicken was moist and I loved the stuffed part. Ricky, our server, was personable and attentive and very efficient. A good choice, if you like good Mexican cuisine.

Spotted this little restaurant when visiting the yoga studio across the street. Read the menu in the window and was impressed by the sophistication of the offerings. It didn't take long to persuade my husband to stop in for a meal on a Saturday night. We were lucky to get a table for two without a reservation, as the place holds only seven tables and three more outdoors. Would recommend making a reservation. We extremely enjoyed our choices of mushroom tacos and chicken mole tacos. The mole was deep, earthy and not sweet as many other places seem to favor. My entree of Camarones Ixtapa, a shrimp dish, was good, but not as good as the tacos. The side of beans my husband ordered were pretty straight forward. Not sure if Yolo's tortillas are home made, but they sure tasted like it. And so wonderfully fresh. My husband is Mexican-American and really loved the food overall here, as did I. Tasteful decor. Special place to bring an out-of-town guest. By the way, Yolo is short for the native Mexican language (Nahautl) word "Yolotl," meaning "heart."

Top-notch balance of affordability, quality, expertise, accessibility. Nice walking neighborhood, open high-ceiling space with decent noise abatement (a personal plus), excellent and reasonably-priced wine list. Tapas menu is solid, diverse, but not overkill. Fresh prep, good cooking techniques. Postres as good as the frias i calientes. Top marks to the floor staff, especially senior waiter Juan (7pm 8/10/19), who was absolutely on-point: attentive, unpushy, capable of engaging individually and personably, made good and thoughtful recommendations. Floor staff, and Juan in particular, push the rating to a "5". Unmissable.

90 Miles Cuban Cafe is just next to the main entrance to the Lincolnwood Town Center. There are entrances from the parking lot and the interior of the mall. One very nice thing about this mall restaurant is that it has its own restrooms which were clean and well-kept. We ordered tostones rellenos as an appetizer, as well as a pork tamal, for the four of us to share. For entrees, we ordered a ropa vieja and a frita Cubana. Though they are unable to prepare the frita Cubana to a medium rare (because of the chorizo), they were nice enough to keep it just south of well done. The plantains were perfectly done. Our server, Jocelyne A., was friendly and efficient. The prices are reasonable. There is plenty of parking available.
