We arrived on a Monday when most places were closed, but we were fortunate to find this place open. The menu of the day for â¬11 was superb, Judas beans with ham, egg, chorizo and chips, fish, all beautiful, with a high quality beer and finished with a beautiful home made creme catalana

At the beginning of the Duratón we have created a space for rest, an environment where you can enjoy and share the noblest meats prepared according to traditional recipes : lamb and suckling pig roasted in our wood oven, game dishes , fish north, killing

We visited Sepúlveda for the first time in Nov 2011 and before going we saw there was a good choice of decent restaurants in this town and we opted for CRISTOBAL (also recommended to us by a Segovian friend), and we were not disappointed. It is an old-fashioned place with discreet waiters who do not pressure you.We chose the lamb chops, and ended up eating them with our fingers. Delicioso. They also have great desserts.PS If in the Sepúlveda area, do not miss the HOCES DEL DURATON for a long walk between cliffs, along the bankks of the stream watching the buzzards circling above.

When we stayed in Sepulveda we didnât want the local specialty (suckling lamb or pig) and opted for an informal evening with wine and tapas/raciones. Bar La Queda provided exactly that. The tapas and raciones did not disappoint. Portions are large and squid and calamaris were tender and well prepared. The âjamonâ was tender and cut directly from the leg. Clearly this is the place to be with lots of locals popping in for a drink and a bite and who can blame them as this is a great place to be and we returned the next evening for another round.

Figón ZUTE EL MAYOR, the predecessor of the new FIGÃN DE TINÃN, was founded in 1850 by the ancestors of the current owner, Mr. MartÃn Antoranz Albarrán. Our fame comes from old, since our grandparents took care that all those who distinguished them with t
I have tried the lamb in other places in Burgos like Roa and in Pedraza and this place is definitely in the top 5 places. It was very high quality lamb and once you sit done they already serve you the mixed salad and quickly bring out the lamb. It was definitely a hit for the family. I didn´t give 5 stars (but would give the lamb 5 stars) because the place (decoration) is very basic and they don´t accept credit cards. The meal for us was 89 Euros for 2 glasses of wine, 2 cuartos de lechazo, 2 bottles of water and the salad which easily fed 3 adults and 2 children. I will definitely return. We went on a Sunday lunch and even though a group of 22 entered while we sat down we still received a fantastic and attentive service with plenty waiters to attend well.We also found a kayak trip from this restaurant in a nearby town at http://www.hocesduraton.com/ which left at 4pm so we had a very exciting and full day seeing the river and natural park with vultures and incredibly scenary.

Went there for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon so the place was not crowed at all. The place is very inviting with a serene and elegant atmosphere. The downstairs is the bar - pianola and all - and the restaurant occupies the upper floor. We were greeted by Pena, the owner and a very gracious hostess. Try the croquettes....simply delicious and square in shape, but the main dish must the baby lamb which is just superb. I suggest ordering some French fries as well since it does go quite well with the lamb. You will also like the bread and the house wine which is excellent and reasonably priced. The desserts are not to be missed either. You can't go wrong here.Muchas Gracias por dedicar su valioso tiempo a compartir su opinion sobre nuestro Asador, nos agrada saber que el servicio y la comida y bebida todo estuvo de su agrado , lo comunicare al resto del equipo .Muchas Gracias

I have been to "El Figon de Ismael" many times, however yesterday was a very special day celebrating my moms 85 birthday. The food was simply wonderful. Ismael has a very good wine list which make a celebration like yesterday even nicer. The detailed attention to my mom was wonderful. We have had a great time. I strongly recommend to try the "Ponche Segoviano" as desert. Nice way to finish a meal.

A garden salad so heavily salted it was inedible. Cod which was delicious cooked in an awful sauce. Ice cream nothing to write home about. A bottle of reasonable Rioja. The bill : â¬67 for two. Disgraceful. We appreciate the time taken to leave us your feedbackWe always try to improve from mistakes, but we believe that if the salt was ensalda says when he started eating it and we would have prepared another quicklyRegarding the cod Sorry you do not know our gastromÃa , cod sauce was pilpil a sauce that accompanies the usual cod in SpainThe Rioja wine requested was expensive , the letter could see that we wines cheaper

A lovely restaurant in a typically small Segovian village. Very friendly hosts. Original and very good menu. Only reason not to give 5 stars is because we thought the portions were rather small.
