The slowest service ever. Table booked for 3pm lunch and we had our orders taken at 3.30. The food was good (artichoke salad, leeks stuffed with seafood and pan seared hake) but very slow service on what was a busy Easter Saturday. It seemed only 2 waiters serving over 25 tables. I had visited before last December during the week and had the menu del dia which was tasty and good value but today disappointed and that's a pity as it's a lovely place.Highly recommend eating tapas out front instead with the best patatas bravas I've ever tasted.

Estuvimos con la familia cenando unas tapas buenÃsimas, callos, langostinos, puerros, pulpo buenÃsimo, etc. La única y gran pega es que el pan no era del dÃa... Estaba duro. Por lo demás todo bien, calidad precio perfecto.
A very modern cafe. Plenty of table space further into the cafe. The service was good. The food very good. Its busy because of its good reputation for quality. I really liked the style of the chairs. Most unexpected. There are plenty of cafe's but this was my favourite.

We stopped here on the camino and after our first experience with the waiter we should have gotten up and walked away but it was a sunny day and a good location. When we asked our surly waiter for a menu he handed us his notebook with an illegible Spanish menu. He was so rude we should have left but regretfully didn't. We tried to order what we thought was available but kept being told no not on menu! We eventually decided on three mixed salads, when these can they were fine but all had Tuna which we hadn't expected and wasn't great as one of our party doesn't eat fish. Getting more drinks waiter again gave the impression he didn't want to be there. When we got the bill we had been charged for three combinations at â¬7 each. We explained that we had only had three salads then an even ruder waiter talked into his phone to translate to us but extremely rude and ignorant and no real explanation. Felt completely ripped off and abused the only place on the camino we didn't tip! As above avoid if possible !

Our establishment is one of the oldest in the village. We started our journey in June 11st, 1968. Attended by Mr. Julian Luna y Mrs. Clemencia Lopez, on that while, it was an Hotel; giving bar, coffee, restaurant and lodging services. It was a family busi
The ribs are a real treat, and the owner is very accommodating with English menuâs available if needed.

This is a nice restaurant. We were 3 there for lunch and we had the normal menu (12 euros per person). Pasta with cuttlefish and bacon, risotto, stuffed leeks, pork "codillo", pork ribs, and good deserts. Good air conditioning in a very hot day. Fast and efficient service, and good home made food, in a nice castilian ambience. Good quality for the price. Will return for sure.

This is a tapas bar on the main street, it gets pretty noisy and crowded at night, especially when there's a football game going on. Still, if you like a rackety Spanish atmosphere, this is your place! The tapas are top-class Castilian, the chicken wings are recommended, and for a bigger appetite there are BURGERS! Not the shriveled porky patties way too common in Spain, but real beefy, messy burgers, enough to satisfy this Spanish-American diner!

I have stayed at this small hotel several times and it is a firm favourite. It is five minutes walk from the train station, even with a trolley case. Turn right out of the station and follow the road around and it falls on the hotel on the right hand side. It is by the Camino entrance to Sahagun, though a few minutes walk to continue to the next stage if doing the Camino de Santiago. I've seen some of the alternative accommodations and prefer its warmth character and charm. It is next to a large Albergue and there are a few shops nearby. The bedroom and bathroom are small but nicely furnished but there's no bath, just a shower. Downstairs there is a nice bar, where breakfast is served in the morning to guests and locals. There is also a small outside terrace to enjoy a beer and people watch. The attractive restaurant serves a good pilgrims menu as well as other choices and the staff are good fun. As a solo traveler I felt comfortable staying here and look forward to returning some day.
