Frenchi is a no bulls++t kinda place. It´s not a fancy restaurant, it´s not nice, do not even consider showing up if looking for these things. But, hey, when you look for a quick grab in front of the Garrucha sea, THIS IS THE PLACE.Clean location, quick waiters, short menu. And the star, the fabulous double burger with cheese. The secret possibly in the caramelised onion, all roasted. But it is Heaven on Earth, trust me. Other delicacies include a huge sandwich with pretty much everything you can stick there ( tenderloin, bacon, tomato, lettuce, mayo, eggs, cheese, you name it). And the fries plate is a killer too. Do not expect anything else.Hearsay is they open as they feel like it, so sometimes you get down there to sadly find it closed, but when it is open, and the night sky glows over the seaside of Garrucha... this burger will make you crave for more.

A nice place to spend a few hours ,nice cocktails...the views over the lake were lovely especially at sunset,knowledgeable staff,wish I was there now.

Héctor MartÃnez es un buen cocinero. En una barraca clásica ha reformado y pone a disposición de la clientela cualquier pieza de mar o de carne (o verdurillas) que usted adquiera en el mercado y quiera comer allà mismo preparada adecuadamente por él según sus preferencias. Se la cocina, toma unas bebidas y por un módico precio tendrá la satisfacción de decir (p.ej): "del mar a la mesa". Naturalmente, ya sea pescado o marisco, el coste final es muy inferior al de un bar convencional. Pruébelo, repetirá muy probablemente (nota: el cierre coincide con el del mercado, no es lugar para sobremesas es para comer y tapear)

Llegamos a mediodia, viajando desde la mañana, y fue un alivio encontrar este chiringuito a pie de playa, donde nos dieron de comer estupendamente, nos aconsejaron genial y nos atendieron de maravilla.

Great little restaurant. Very homely. Excellent fish and seafood. Very fresh. Very relaxed but good service. But - the wall attributed to Franco memorabilia was a great surprise and totally unexpected. It needs to be taken down as it is an insult to modern Spain !

On arrival we were given pink cava while we waited for our table. We waited seconds to be seated. The staff are fantastic, very attentive and alwats making sure your glass was full nothibg was to much trouble. We had a pasta in 3 cheese sauce to start followed by stuffed chucken breast and cgeese potatoe cakes the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Guve it a go you wont be disappointed.

Our usual resteraunt in Olula de Castro was closed, so instead we decided to visit here. And very glad we were too. Well cooked and imaginative menu del dia served by charming young staff. All in an amazing building. Well recommended.

We found Casa Blas by accident on the way to Cabo De Gata. Fantastic fresh salads, and seafood,(the portions are enormous) .Imaginative presentation, The service was excellent, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. It is not expensive. Looking forward to a return visit

Tapas bar located in Plaza de la Constitución (Plaza Vieja) of AlmerÃa. We cook breakfast, lunch, dinner, daily menu and gourmet tapas of high quality and winners of lot of local prizes. Also, we brew our own craft beer El Chato.

This bar/restaurant is located just off the Paseo de Almeria close to the banks. Many of its customers are local office workers. I only had drinks here (very good price), having already lunched, but I could see the quality and value of the Menu del Dia still being served at about 4pm. If I were in Almeria again, I would come here for lunch. Service was friendly and pleasant.
