This is a workers bar/restaurant and only open for lunch. The menu is 9 Euro and includes 3 courses, wine, a valencian salad and bread/aioli.There is a choice of 4 starters normally including paella and pasta (yes as a starter and big helpings)mains are 2 or 3 meat dishes and fish and a number of desserts.I visited with my wife and we both opted for the Russian salad as a starter i had liver as a main and my wife had battered fish, I had tiramisu for dessert and my wife declined as she was full.I have visited this restaurant many times and the food is typically Spanish well cooked with fast service.I am taking my local bar owner here for her birthday and have ordered 4 tapas to start followed by a mixed paella so it is possible to order in advance something specific if you wish but the price is obviously higher than the menu del dia.

Visited Karina a few times during our holiday and every time it was lovely. The food is simple but it's very good. The salads are amazing! Drinks are cheap and the setting is very pretty sitting on the main square under the trees. Will be back next year.

Our family has been to this restaurant twice during our 2 weeks stay in PegoSpotlessly clean inside and outside the restaurant along with the toilets Set in the same quaint, relaxing square as my previous review of Bar Daniel Menu was extensive with a good selection of Tapas, salads, Steak & fish We all had the Sirloin steak both times with exception to myself who had the fresh Tuna the 2nd time with a house salad in the middle to all tuck into, steaks come out with a searing hot plate so you can cook them through a little more if required, tuna was cooked perfectly medium rare, salad was super freshly prepared A good selection of desserts was had by us all with a homemade selection available on the back of them menu House White white was beautiful as was the coffee to finish with The bill was very reasonable as we have found with each and every restaurant we sampled in Pego along with the friendly customer service We will defiantly return here on our next visit to Pego next year Thank you all

My first visit to Rafel in Pego and it will not be my last. My wife and I dined there with a group of six friends whilst staying in Pego. We had a great choice of dishes from an extensive menu. Everyone was really pleased with their selection, but the most popular seemed to be a wonderful lamb special, a very generous swordfish and a really nice sole dish. The starters were also very tasty and were quite filling. Having spent 3 hours enjoying the food and several bottles of wine we were surprised how inexpensive it all was.we are waiting fot your next time, thank's

We stopped for lunch here during a village fiesta day (Fiesta of the Tortilla), so the place was very busy with both tourists and locals. We ordered two mixed salads - they were enormous, and filled with really interesting things, like the wonderfully pink sweet pickled onion slices - a real treat. The bread was delicious and the desserts fantastic. The staff were wonderful; busy, but very attentive, from endless and helpful. The square in which the restaurant sits is beautiful, containing the town hall and a gorgeous old church. Lego is charming, and Bardaniel definitely worth a visit

The Casino was oponed in 1925 It was a select place for the bourgeoisie of Pego before the Civil War, that stood out for its fabulous Carnival and New Years Eve Balls. The lively Music played by Oltra and His Boys consisted of Boleros and Milangas. But it

Itâs only our second visit to this restaurant but we will certainly be back. The food and choice were excellent and the service second to non! A delightful family restaurant, we are always made to feel so welcome in Pego, never a tourist, and this restaurant did just that. Both father and son looked after our table of ten and we could not fault the food or service, we had a great selection to start all perfect and then shared entrecôte steaks which were delightful - tasty and tender - and we even managed to squeeze in 5 of their puddings as we all wanted to try them!! Needless to say - all plates cleared and ten very happy diners! We will be back - Thank You.

We have has the pleasure of dining here on several occasions, Never had a bad meal, the steaks are so tender and cooked to perfection. The staff are very friendly and attentive, but not too in your face, The ambiance is just right if you are having a romantic meal or Tapas with friends, The prices are a bit higher, but well worth it. FOR A SMALL VILLAGE, THIS IS A HIDDEN GEM.
