Bocados Newcastle is a find for lovers of Spanish and South American cuisine. Its Spanish inspired menu is highlighted by Spanish produce, beer, wine and, of course .. sangria! You`ll be in Barcelona for the night. You are welcome to enjoy tapas or Bocado
Travelled from Central Coast to this Spanish restaurant and was not disappointed. We shared a few dishes. Garlic prawns were great, as was the Paella. Will definitely return. Good wine list. Staff were great. Good location.

Casual relaxed atmosphere, fresh food influenced by the flavours of the Middle East Morrocco and Spain. Premium Specialty coffee. Breakfast and lunch 7 Days Tagine and BYO Night Thursdays Private function enquiries welcome
My wife and I, and our 2 little mini sausage dogs, came here on Friday morning for a late breakfast. Seated outside in the shade with a cooling ocean breeze we enjoyed a lovely meal with quick friendly service. Quality produce, plenty of flavours, and a Middle Eastern influence in generous proportions make this quaint city cafe a standout. And the coffee is first rate. Definitely recommended

We went here for the first time for our wedding anniversary last November, were so impressed by the food that we were quite excited about going back. Again, delicious food but spoiled for us by two things. The first the venue could do something about. We felt the tapas courses came out too close together, so we seemed to be rushing and couldn't really savor the quality of excellent courses. We had our meal over with in less than 40 minutes- no time to linger and enjoy the food or the really good sangria. The second thing, which really spoiled our meal, was the two women sitting 2 tables away from us, talking and laughing incessantly , at the tops of their voices, showing no awareness or concern for people sitting around them. We could hear every word, and they were so loud we could barely speak to each other without raising our voices. We eat out regularly and have never encountered this in other restaurants we frequent. It was rude and annoying. Don't know what the venue could do, but both things make us unwilling to go back to what is a very good restaurant.

We went with the entertainment card and this made it suitably priced. However without the discount it was far too expensive. The waitress also forgot our drinks order and we had to ask several times for them to be delivered. The food was yummy, just too expensive for what it is
