This is fun spot with lots of brazilians -- like a casual spot on the corner in sao paolo. Beer flows inexpensively, meet is carved from the rotisserie, chopped on woodblock and put on your little plastic plate or aluminum togo dish (suggest putting side dishes on the plastic and taking an alum for the meat) -- then take it to the cashier to be weighed. If you're going back for more meat or beer they'll run a tab. Small place so hard to find a seat on Fri/Sat night but can sit outside if weather warm (and if you like loud music). Neighborhood is iffy but I always park on street (very small parking lot) with no problems.

Casual elegance meets New American dining at Park 143 Bistro in Bronxville, NY. Here guests can enjoy a seasonal menu of small plates, featuring savory crepes, homemade pastas, and made-to-share classics, like hand cut pomme frites and lager steamed musse
Inside is a very sophisticated, but welcoming atmosphere. I love all the different fish options, especially the different types of mussels. I highly recommend the trout. The fried oysters were delicious, but I was disappointed in the dipping sauce- no flavor. Every time I'm here I find myself wishing there were some sort of meat option as an appetizer though. Great drinks. Service is very slow though- after multiple times now.

The Little Mexican Cafe has been a New Rochelle destination for aficionados of gourmet Mexican cuisine since 1990.The cheerful dining room is a great setting for simple business lunches or a great evening dining experience. There is a full bar offering do
Visited for a quick lunch of 2 tacos at the bar. I enjoyed the hospitality of being served delicious warm fried nacho chips and a masterful fresh salsa with my tiny order. I considered one of the fruit drinks on the menu, but then discarded the idea with mental visions of a syrupy concoction from a bottle. Then when I watched the bartender stocking the bins with frozen strawberries and beautiful chunks of fresh mango, I reconsidered. She made me a blender drink of mango and strawberry, with no added sugar, at my request. What a treat on this 85 degree April day. Tacos ordered dairy-free were delicious. Price under $10. I would like to return and try the mole and more!

Recently opened. And reasonably priced and delicious.
While we will frequently order the chuleta's with black beans and rice with sweet plaintains, what i really love about this place is the empanadas. Being Puerto Rican there are many times when i know my guest would love an empanada as an appetizer or as an item on a buffet, but who wants to make empanadas for a large crowd. So for my daughters bridal shower and the get away brunch after the wedding I ordered them from Casa Cubana. Even locals who live in Mt. Vernon had not heard of this little gem. The one draw back is that it is physically pretty small, so we usually do take out when we are getting dinner. Go, you will be surprised to see such good food coming out of what looks like a little pizzeria.
