We had a lovely 7 night stay at this hotel, so peaceful and charming with excelllent staff. Thank you especially to Marta and Jordie, for making our stay so great. The rooms were beautiful and cool amidst the heat wave, thank you for the AC!!! The food was well prepared and tasty, for hotel guests a little more variety would be good, however, from day to day. The pool was very clean and the area around the pool most welcoming. Thank you for a super break, I hope at some point we can return.

The car park was absolutely packed on this Sunday in Autumn and we didn't expect to get a table. Thankfully, the manager was very friendly and offered us an early seating or one much later, which we accepted as we wanted to go for a walk. The three adults chose the 21 euro menu and the two boys the kids menu. Food was really good,, the highlights being the pumping cream of soup with black olives and truffles and the chicken cooked in beer. The dining room feels a bit like a great hall at some stately home - quite atmospheric. We all enjoyed lunch and paid 100 euro or the five of us. Will return.Hi, good moorning,Thanks for your opinion! :-)))See you soon,Thanks,

Venturing out for some hiking in Montseny National Park, for lunch I selected Restaurant Fonda in Montseny, and I wasn't disappointed.Located in the heart of the village this restaurant has some nice views from its terrace and its interior is quite rustic with an interesting intimate bar section (even showcasing some local sausages!)I was welcomed by a young waitress who was definitely born to be in the hospitality industry.....big smile, talkative (even a good level of English!) and efficient. The menu included mostly local Catalonian dishes both a la carte and a choice of two set menus. I selected the "Montseny Menu" which started with a salad with a selection of local cheeses, followed by a Montseny sausage with white beans (yummy) and as dessert (there was a selection of 9!) I selected strawberries.Food was very tasteful and simple straightforward in presentation, the way I expected it in this location and also the way I like it!Definitely a venue where I will return and also one recommended to those after a genuine Catalonian culinary experience in a good location and with friendly and efficient service

The restaurant is located in the beautiful village of Sant Esteve de Palautordera that is the door of the magnificient Montseny Natural Parc and mountains, so is a perfect place to visit if you love nature and countryside and you want to walk after or before lunch. The restaurant is a traditional catalan country house (Masia) sorrounded by the forest and it has also an equestrian center in. The place , the quality of the food and the service is good. We ordered the menu for the weekend and all dishes were good, I recommend the monkey fish rice and the peas with foie and with boiled egg at low temperature. We ordered for drink a good catalan red wine from Priorat area. In general it was a very nice experience.

We've just had the best Saturday ever hiking up the hill of the Montseny natural park and lunching at Casa Del Bosc! Incredible nature, views and even more incredible and surprising food. Local, super tasty, creative, indeed remarkably good. We had a couple of starters suggested by the owner, among them caramelized figs with fois gras, dear carpaccio, freshly picked mushrooms with quails eggs. Mains were wonderful too, lamb and wild boar. Our friend is vegetarian and the owner came up with some great main for her as well. We definitely recommend this place as a one day getaway and will be back soon!!!

We had a wonderful dinner at this atmospheric place up in the mountains. The menu is a great mixture of cuts of meat with rich sauces and imaginative combinations of fresh vegetables. The desserts were the highlight and we were treated to an assortment of delicious cheesecakes, sponges, sorbets. The setting for the restaurant is magical with the choice of an outside terrace or inside the rustic farmhouse.

The problem with going to eat to mountain areas is that is hard to make a difference between quality or just being hapy because that is you only option to eat. So most of the time food is basic but fine. Not here. I would drive 1 hour just to eat that rice. Eating there over the weekend can be a bit too much as it is quite crowded. Last people who entered for lunch were in line and waiting until 16:30. And there are kids and families and noise. But the rice is worth it. Go for a walk to Montseny and reward yourself with a meal there.
