I can't find a listing for the Pollo Tropical we visited near the Holiday Inn International Airport but as it's a chain I suppose they are all similar - except maybe the service. This one was fantastic. The service was quite good even though we were there at a very busy supper hour time. The menu is extensive and the food was so very yummy and inexpensive. Their specialty is tropical grilled chicken - and it is special! There's also Caribbean ribs and Mojo pork, yuca, plantains, black beans and rice, tres leches cake and guava cheesecake -- welcome to the delicious side of Miami.
I really like going to this restaurant. Its very casual, relatively inexpensive, and although I've only had the Chupa de Mariscos (Seafood Gumbo - its the yellow-orange colored soup if you've had it before) and the Whole Red Snapper (at a different visit), but both were absolutely delicious. They put a good amount of seafood in the soup, and my server was very, very nice!
I have been visiting this Cuban bakery/restaurant for over 20 years, and itâs still the same. Fresh pastries, delicious breakfast, great customer service and excellent Cuban coffee. The sausage taste homemade, the Cuban toast with butter is delicious and the display of pastries and cakes are really pretty. Even though I had moved to another state for a few years, when I come back home to Miami, I am always coming here for breakfast or guava pastries. They are delicious and filled with guava and cheese inside the pastry. Itâs not too sweet, just that fruity taste thatâs right. I will definitely be back this week. I also added some photos for your view.

My family and I were staying in North Miami for a quick trip and were looking for some Cuban food when we stumble upon this place in the listings. Let's just say it was exactly what we were looking for and it did not disappoint. Accompanied by some live music (which wasn't too loud at all like most places), the entire atmosphere was fun and great for families or groups. The food, from the appetizers to the main dishes were fantastic. I would recommend starting off with the fried yuca cheese balls (deliciosos!) and the plantain chips (some of the best I've ever had; light and very crispy). For the main courses, the ropa vieja was a popular choice, as was the Little Havana Steak. We were pleasantly surprised each entree came with white rice, black beans, and fried plantains so it is definitely a great value for the price. As for drinks, the mojitos were delicious. We tried the regular and the mango and both were very good, and nice and strong :)The service was just as great. We can't wait to come back next time we visit Miami!

Dined on a Tuesday. Pretty busy for mid week. Started with shrimp and pineapple tostones which were very good. Mojitos are also tasty. Had the vaca frita - shredded beef with onions with mojo rice and plantains. Meat and rice were flavorful. Plantains perfectly sweet. Table also had shrimp paella, needed a bit more heat and spice. Fried whole red snapper was also good. Venue has old Cuban flare inside and out. Lots of items to choose from and try. Worth the trip.

Restaurant is located in Miami Lakes but may also be found in HIaleah. In addition, this restaurant has several locations around miami.
This restaurant was recommended by the staff at our hotel. We were very disappointed and would not go back. First of all, the staff do not speak English. We felt like nobody wanted to wait on us due to the fact that we did not speak Spanish. Most importantly, the food was poor; it was served cold and we felt like there was nothing we could do about it due to the language barrier. Very poor experience.

For the last 25 years, our Latin American restaurant has specialized in serving authentic Nicaraguan and Central American style cuisine to the area. Our house special and most popular dish, the churrasco which is a tenderloin meat filet, is accompanied wi
I have frequented this gem on multiple occasions. If you have never tried Nicaraguan food, think Argentinian and you will not be far off. Beautiful and unusual decor, indoor and outdoor seating in the heart of Miami Lakes. The food is great, the service is excellent and the experience is wonderful. Moderately priced.

I recently made a quick swing by this relatively new local eatery. I wanted to get an idea about the menu selections, their hours, their. ambiance , etc. HOST AJ WAS QUITE HELPFUL in showing us around; and, familiarizing us with the food & flair that sets Miriamâs Grill apart. âªï¸Check Them Out . . .
