Travelling with our teenage children, we were looking for a ârealâ restaurant in zona rosa. Looking at all the reviews, we decided to reserve a table at mar-a-mar via our hotel: we had a great night. It was raining non stop, but inside the restaurant âupstairs â it was super. The staff was very patient with our almost non-existent Spanish: they helped us in English! Already experienced with the language challenge I had pre-translated their menu with Google translate (see attached) which helped. This is a fish restaurant and I had checked with the children whether they were ok with it. Most of us had 2 courses (either starter and main or main and dessert), we had nice mexican wines (1 bottle of white, 1 red). The quality of the dishes was excellent, as I would expect them in an American or European quality restaurant. Muchas gracias to the staff.

We tried the red soup with seafood, fish ceviche, spaghetti seafood del mare, and terrific langostinos. Would do this all over again. Wonderful wait staff!

We visited twice and the food was excellent. Fresh baked pastries and all kinds of egg dishes and more are available. Service was too notch. But the setting is what sets this place apart. Located in an old mansion just a few blocks from the Zocalo, it gives a hint of how royalty lived not that long ago. An elegant place to dine. Highly recommended, just wish they were open later. Seems to serve just breakfast and lunch. If I recall correctly, they lose at 4 oâclock.

Excellent meat and Argentinian food. The prices are accessible and the ambience is very nice because it is not crowded and noisy. The chimichurri is excellent.

Discover the perfect blend of authentic Mexican food and the originality of a sophisticated culinary concept. A tequila bar and grill that serves both our spirits and cocktails as well as exceptional Mexican dishes and a variety of seafood, steaks, salads
I canât say enough about this place. We loved the foodâevery biteâand enjoyed the staff, every one of which knew all about the dishes they were serving. My wife had the mole enchiladas and I had the chipotle âhongoâ enchiladas. Both were excellent; but the appetizers were the pinnacle of our dinner: their special cheese dish (called âOcosingoâ or something like that and the âmixtoâ ceviche. They served us three different salsas that were unique and uncommonly tasty. Everything was just scrumptious. Weâll be back!
