Stopped for quick beer and tapa. Staff were welcoming. A very pretty selection of tapas on display. We had courgette fritters and tempura prawns. Very tasty. A few locals were patronising the place. Worth walking past the usual tourist haunts on the harbour to enjoy this Spanish experience.

Fizz Gastrobar is a restaurant concept where tradition and modernity are mixed, flavors of Mediterranean roots and new trends. Tapas, small portions & minimalist style. Nice atmosphere and high standard service. A small universe of flavor in Puerto de Maz
Lovely modern bar/ restaurant on main st of bahia de mazarron. Bright modern interior and welcoming happy owner/ staff. Good selection of gin and variety tonics. Speciality is tapas- a la carte or a chefs selection. Chefs selection is good in that u r most likely to try something different. Tapas here are modern art on a plate- look fab and taste great. The lunch time menu offers the chefs tapas package and is great value for quality food. Well worth a visit.

Stopped off for a coffee but had to try the tapas on offer. Great choice and very nice. The kitchen was a hive of activity readying for the lunchtime rush. Massive pots all on the go cooking up a storm. Trolly after trolly full of fresh produce being brought in is a good indicator of the customers expected. And yes they have Comidor A and Comidor B, I need to go back for lunch quite soon, the place is a cracker.

Tapas and seafood restaurant with terrace located in Puerto de Mazarrón
Been to Sai y Almagre a few times. Food is very good and quite unique from the usual fare. However the last couple of times we felt that standards and service had dropped considering the cost of the food. Also you have to be careful in what you order if you don't speak Spanish as you can get quite a shock when presented with the bill.

We stopped here for an early dinner whilst enjoying the harbour views. Service was jovial and efficient and the menu had a good selection. Prices were reasonable and there was very little wait between courses. The meatballs were superb and the tuna was delicious although the salad and veg were a bit limited! The chocolate cake was excellent, with an almost fudge texture.

We had a menu del dia here for lunch which was utterly delicious. The restaurant was very busy but the waiters had it all under control and our courses arrived in good time. Definitely one to return to. It's harbourside location was beautiful with the boats reflecting in the water. We started with a Russian Salad. I had Paella, my husband had the crab croquettes with lobster salad which he adored and I had fish with ratatouille and my husband has chicken with a mushroom sauce for the main course. For dessert he had the cheesecake and I had the Walnut cake. All in all a lovely meal. They also do a lovely sangria and coffee which was included in the price of the meal.

Funny place
We visited here for lunchtime tapas as a family of 5 having prebooked a table. The service was quick and efficient, the food delicious, the location superb and the price very reasonable. I just wish we knew about the set menu available in Spanish as mentioned in a previous review. Oh well, maybe next time.

Casa Blas is located a few km outside of Pto de Mazarron in a rural location just north of El Alamillo- inland. Only open lunchtimes. It gets very busy and pre booking advised if not essential. Their speciality is their style of cooking on open wood fires which gives a wonderful aroma and flavour. They cook a variety of paellas this way in addition to beef and pork steaks. Very popular which was a surprise given location. Well worth visiting. Efficient and friendly service.
