We stopped here as part of our tour for lunch on the way from Granada to Toledo. Our guide had said this was a local restaurant. It was on property with a service station just off the highway although it was in a separate building. The place has lots of flies! The dining room was hot (open doors and windows), so I am not sure they have a/c. Our guide had recommended we order off the menu which is a choice of a starter (soup, salad or vegetable), a choice of meat, and a choice of dessert. It also includes one drink for a price of 12 Euro per person which our guide said was good. I would disagree. After many at our table ordered the soup, we were later told they were out. None of the meat choices were tasty as our table had all of them between us and nobody liked theirs. The store bought ice cream cup was the highlight of the meal. The service was slow. We had to ask several times for water and the first time they brought 2 glasses for our table of 8... they mixed up our orders. Honestly if I was a tour company I would never take my group here especially considering it isn't included in the tour package price.

We ate here in the company of a great many locals which tells you everything. lovely courtyard restaurant, friendly service, great prices and good food. Can heartily recommend the lamb chops which were sweet and delicious. We paid about 24 euro for two dinners, 2 glasses wine, a beer, a bottle of water etc. very good value. would definitely return here to eat when next in Manzanares. In fact, would always eat here when in town.

My colleagues and I benefitted from being entertained by clients with strong local connections, so they knew what to order and took everything in hand. Wonderful atmosphere - a treat for me as a Brit to be eating outside in mid-September :) - and superb food. The leg of lamb was especially good, meltingly tender.

The restaurant features traditional dishes such as migas del pastor (shepherd-style fried breadcrumbs), shoulder of suckling lamb, tiznao (roasted cod and vegetables) and pisto manchego (La Mancha-style ratatouille).
My wife, daughter and grand daughter and I were travelling back to the Murcia area after spending xmas in Avila with family. When as usual at abut 2pm I started to feel peckish, just off the motorway I noticed the parador so we drove into the car park and walked through into the restaurant.Everything looked smart and clean and there were abut 4 or 5 waitresses buzzing round, although very efficient ours could have smiled!!. I decided to have menu de dia, so I ordered entre mesas, second plate steak and chips, postre arroz con leche and then coffee con leche. My steak was a little over done, but apart from that quite a good meal ,my share of the bill was 9.95 for the meal plus 1.95 for the coffee

It's a very a small place, where mostly local people go to. The food was absolutely delicious (we had tapas and grilled fish). The whole staff (waiter, cook) have been extremely friendly!

Great place to stop and have a few beers and enjoy the generous and delicious tapas that come with each beer. Must try the "Plaza de Toros" in any of its versions. Although a small bar its service is fast and with great quality. If ever in Manzanares, this is a must visit place!
