This restaurant is ideally located and has excellent non greasy food with great light salads. The soup is very tasty and the house wine is very good. I recommended that people call the restaurant before going

Restaurant and grill La Robleda opened it's doors for the first time in 1971, making it the first grill in Galicia. What makes us so different is that we offer good quality food meat from our local farm and our lettuce, tomates, etc. from our own garden.
I live in Galicia and I visit this restaurant regularly. They serve a variety of meat that they prepare on a massive barbecue in an open kitchen. Although you do not see many tourists here (this restaurant is mainly frequented by the local crowd), I would highly recommend this place to anybody who is travelling around Galicia and who wants to experience the amazing quality of local products in a very authentic atmosphere.Vegetarians will probably have a hard time here, as most dishes contain either meat or fish. Also, be prepared to use a few words of Spanish (or your hands and feet) to make yourself understood.I recommend embutidos for starters, croca for main course (served with salad and chips) and flan de café for dessert. Café de pota and licor de café to finish it off. All of this, including bread, water and red house wine, will cost you about 15â¬. And you can have as much meat, salad, chips and coffee as you like without having to pay more, so if you're a good eater, this place is definitely worth it.

A family reunion and without a reservation we were greeted warmly and seated upstairs. Relaxed, beautiful rustic surroundings and delicious food, reasonably priced. We ordered pulpo, churrasco, chips and grilled vegetables. We highly recommend the grilled vegetables, exceptional flavour and variety. The churrasco was a little dry. The house mencia wine one of the best I've tried. Diana was our server and she really made our night, brilliant service and she even took us downstairs and seated us at midnight for the secret show! Highly recommended, make sure you book a table downstairs for the midnight show. Thank you Diana, best service in Galicia!

They serve good coffee and sell great whole cheese. But dont go for the sandwich. I had a bocadillo with cheese and bacon. They forgot to cook the bacon. They also forgot everything else: this literally was white bread with bacon and cheese.

We had lunch here one Sunday afternoon and came in at aorund 3pm when the spanish families were settling in for the afternoon. A basement place, half bar, half restaurant, low vaulted ceilings and friendly, welcoming owner and staff. We had the menu del dia - but around us most were tucking into large slabs of grilled meat which smelled wonderful and there appeared to be pleny of happy customers, who knew the owner well and he chatted to them happily. We had a gorgeous vergetable soup and a fish dish of grilled bass, which was bony but done just right. the wine of the casa was fine, and served a naturale which was good as the spanish tend to chill their 'tintos' a little too much. The flan of the house was tender, creamy and with juts the right amount of tartness in the caramel. The only negative was that at 18 euros each it was a bit expensive for a menu del dia that wasn't anything above and beyond what you might expect.

I was in Lalin for the evening while walking the via de la Plata. Checked Trip Adviser and found reviews for this place on there. Was hard to find but I am glad that I did. Excellent tapas. Full of locals which says it all. The staff were very helpful too.

I was taken to this place with the promise that I woud eat the best pulpo in Galicia. Additionally we also ordered richada, and some cheese with "membrillo" for afters. I must say that my satisfaction was full. Very very recommendable. We visited the place in a non very bussy day and we had the opportunity to talk with the owner and visit the process to cook the pulpo. Exceptional. Thanks thanks a lot for your dedication and the excellent dinner. Do not forget to order some white "vino de la casa" also exceptinally good.
