This is on the main road between Icod and La Orotava (opposite the Repsol garage) We would have driven by but it was recommended to us. Very glad it was. There is no menu so am sure we missed out on some of the options but even so. The calamari was some of the best ever tried - light and crispy. The main course was a fish chosen by us off the counter (!) and simply grilled then served with the ubiquitous wrinkly potatoes, salad and a salsa. Huge portion but we finished all the fish as it was so good. Whoever does the cooking here knows exactly how to cook seafood and fish.Definitely recommended if you are passing this way.

We have been here once while on holiday in Tenerife. The quality of the food was good but the portions were small for the price. Not much variety to choose from (very short menu). Not particularly exited about this place but not too bad.

Pedro Rodriguez begins his hostesses adventuresat age 14 , washing dishes at the then greatRestaurant " Huts " in northern Tenerife. Wherelater learned the craft as a kitchen .At 15, with his family begins the release of the restaurant " Las Aguas " in Sa
Unprepossessing exterior with tasteful elegant interior arrangement. A family run restaurant with a friendly welcome. We had the house speciality of "pulpo a feria" as a shared delicious starter followed by a main dish of cod cooked in rice. This was moist, flavoursome and the cod was cooked to perfection. There is music on Fridays and you can just drop in for a drink. The only problem is that a car is necessary as it is a little distant from Puerto.

We were really impressed. Sometimes Gringos seem to get the shaft in Canarias. Today, we walked in as they were closing. We normally hate to do this; but we weren't aware at first today. They didn't hesitate to seat us; and gave us wonderful treatment. The best service we've had so far in Tenerife. The waiter was very thoughtful; and even helped us pick a location to enjoy the sunset. We were very impressed!

We stumbled on this place when driving round the island and looking for a late lunch. We fancied the tapas type approach and though they didn't do this we found having four starters plus bread worked well for us. Would particularly recommend the garlic prawns and the crispy squid which were both delicious. The waitresses were friendly and you can sit outside with a view of the sea, though at lunchtime you don't catch the sun here. Would recommend (there is a small car park out front, but be aware the road is on a one way system so you exit the opposite end from where you came in)

Typical Canarian food, speciality: excellent fresh grilled meets.
Every time I visit Tenerife I dine in this restaurant on multiple occasions.mainly this is a fresh meat restaurant with a large selection of meats on display as you walk in and also serves local dishes like potage ,garvanzos, carne fiesta, all very reasonable price very good quality and perfect portions .Even on very busy night the service and food is as perfect as a night when it is quite always very consistent like that. The owner who is also the chef is a professional butcher and chooses only the best meats .Staff are all very attentive and welcoming .To give an example 2 x starter - large portion of grill cheese with local mojo and a dish of garvanzos.2 x mains - steak in breadcrumbs with chips and salad and half chicken with chips and salad .3x soft drinks 1x glass wine 1 x dessert All less than â¬30 approx £25 so very good valueHighly recommend El Frenazo. As always I will return every time I visit Tenerife .

We arrived for a late lunch and found a splendid open air table, overlooking the rolling Atlantic surf. We ordered a shellfish casserole of mussels, clams and tiger prawns in the shell, in a wine, garlic and smoked ham liquor. It was a generous portion and very tasty. There were many tables occupied, even ar 15.30. A dessert and expression coffee were also well made and the prices were reasonable.

I went there with two friends and we had a wonderful meal on one of the terraces; we shared the most delicious mushrooms, croquets, langostino salad and more....all delicious! We indulged by trying all the desserts on the menu, including the spectacular "bomba"...fabulous! We paid 22⬠each including drinks (wine and beer). Excellent value for money. We will definitely return.

If you would like to visit a canarian restaurant that is a little bit different. Then this is the place. As the name indicated, 7 Islas, 7 Islands, there are little individual huts that you can eat in.all named after the Islands. We ate in Tenerife, the largest of the islands as there were 10 of us. A good mixed menu, but we went a bit to late on a Sunday and it was packed, so they had run out of a few things for the grill. Nevertheless, food was great as was the wine. Well worth a visit.

Mama Nena: food to share by Hermanos Suárez.
Haydee has moved up the road, Mama Nena has been created by the Suarez. To call it "son of Haydee" is doing it a disservice. It stands on it's own.Four of us shared the dishes:Crispy Crab Bao with Yuzu Mayo. 2 between four of us. Managed to keep us all quiet (with maybe one exception!). Delicious.Salad of Crispy Prawns and red fruit vinaigrette. My oh my! Lovely.Tuna Tartar with gooseberry ponzu. Magnificent blend of a variety of different tastes which possibly shouldn't work but does.Meatballs over Udon noodles with teriyaki sauce. OMG - the taste of the noodles! Meatballs good too!!Pork Rib cooked at low temperature with strawberry hoisin - the previous dishes were excellent - so was this! Again, another wonderful blend of unexpected tastes. Which worked very well! And then came the Postres! Well this was seething else! Chocolate Foam, cream of galletta maria with date ice cream. The taste literally did explode in your mouth!Electric Lemon Pie - the best lemon pie I have ever tasted!Banana ceviche with tiger milk ice cream and rocoto. Can't really comment as I was unable to prise a taste! Suffice it to say there were many satisfied grunts being made!Crunchy vanilla strudel with kaffir lime ice cream and curry. This dish probably defines the whole meal, a blend of different tastes which probably shouldn't be mixed together but they work spectacularly well.2 bottles of Balancies White and two bottles of water. Much Pan and Mantiquilla. â¬146.A wonderful meal and thoroughly recommended.Thank you so much for such a kind review! We are truly honoured to receive this great words within our first month! We hope to have you back very soon so you can continue to experience our innovative cuisine. Best,
