We came here after being recommended by a friend, itâs a nice drive sometimes scary as you climb up the mountain but itâs worth it. The views from outside are incredible and the restaurant itself was amazing, to sit down inside the cave with the seats that are part of the cave and the table is made from the rock in the cave. The food was beautiful and fresh, prices are reasonable for what you get which is plenty of food. The staff are polite and happy to help. All in all itâs definitely a experience to try, thereâs a souvenir shop down the road with beautiful gifts. If you want to have a experience to remember you have to come here

Our friends brought us to this small but cozy place. It was really nice to have such a good variety of beers, proffesional service and delicious food. We tried different dishes, such us different types of homemade croquettes and vegetable crispy tempura, and it wasn't oily, what was really surprising for us, we haven't tried any like that one. They also had a wide variety of music, such as Mark Knopfler !!The owners were very friendly and the man could speak a little bit of english :) I will definitely recommend it !!Thank you very much Gabriela for valorating our sishes and music. It´s a pleasure for us to know that you have enjoyed your stay with us!!

The drive to get here is spectacular.Once here, you enter a cave building though if you go to the very back you encounter daylight again, with a little balcony offering great views down the gorge back to the coast. They have menus in different languages and we ordered from the "starters" menu (tapas style stuff). Between 2 adults and 2 kids we ordered four tapas plus bread and this was more than enough! They were big plates. This made it a relatively cheap meal (36 euros) compared to our typical Gran Canaria meal which came in more like 47 euros pretty consistently.Tasty stuff, would recommend it although don't expect miracles from the food. Its good honest tapas in a unique location with a mega view.

Restaurante La Juventud y Tú 1940 - 2015
We stumbled upon this restaurant whilst exploring the town and having excluded other busier less enticing places. It was a good choice. Standard local fare, fresh and tasty. We shared a large plate of sardines too. The owner was very welcoming and attentive. The restaurant is in a quiet street and has indoor and outdoor seating. We enjoyed our lunch.

Second time renting a villa in this area. Bar El Populacho is the closest holiday type bar to be found without driving to Maspalomas. Only closed on Fridays this is the only place to sit, have a couple of drinks and watch the world go by. Cocktails are really good and tapas was excellent. If your on holiday in the area you have to visit here.

The Canarian chamber of commerce recommended this restaurant as a place with traditional Canarian food. And in fact, it is a really traditional place. When getting in you arrive at a little bar and it doesnt look like a restaurant. But when asking for food we were taken to a room behind which was full with Canarian people, most families having lunch. We were the only tourists. I loved this atmosphere of loud speaking Spanish people, tables without table cloth etc. Really sincere atmosphere. Only one of the staff could speak English but everything worked out fine. The food was kind of cheap, simple but traditional (I assume) and just good.Worth a visit. Also really nice road half way on the mountain.Credit card accepted.Hi, Maximilian, thank you so much for your words, we hope see you again!

Familiar restaurant. We only use fresh and local products. No microwave or freezing products. Our goal is to make you feel at home. We have an open kitchen as long as we are open, but if you want to come at any other time just call us (Tuesday to Saturday
When you enter they tell you to feel at home. After 5 minutes you truly feel as if you are. Except with food that is truly amazing and better than you can ever dream of cooking up yourself! The service is lovely and the food even better! This is our second visit and we will be sure to come back in the next few days! A true Canarian experience, be sure to try it! Thank you so much Cindy K. We are honored with your comments. We really love to have customers feeling at home and it is a pleasure to see them coming again ...my father feels overwhelmed with your words. A really big hug from heart to heart.

We found this local restaurant, by accident. We had a lovely lunch of local, home cooked dishes. We will pay another visit when next in Gran Canaria. A perfect end to our holiday.
