Family run establishment with pleasant terrace to eat on. Friendly owner with good English and keen to practise it. Pleasant, clean and spacious rooms with everything functioning well. Remember to close the lace curtains if you leave the windows open to deter flies. Good food and atmosphere. On the edge of the small and very characterful town of Anso so much interest nearby as well as a good choice of bars, restaurants and shops within a stone'so throw of the hotel. Good value deal offered which includes dinner, room and breakfast which is worthwhile though breakfast is just coffee, juice and toast. Be aware that no credit cards are accepted here and access to some public facilities on the ground floor may finish early as the family lock up and retire to bed before 11pm. They will give you a key if you go out but lights are out early.

Visited this place as part of our stay at the Hotel of the same name, that is Lo Foratan. In our case, the charges for our meal were added to our hotel account. On our visit the menu was a little limited and scripted to us by the waiter, no actual menu to peruse as it were. Starter, main, desert, wine, water, and bread all included in the bill, all subsequently found to be more reasonable than a 'meal' at a fast food chain. The food was pretty good and very tasty, wine was reasonable table wine, however service was a little off the mark, not bad, just a little hurried, plates cleared from the table a little too fast, not waiting for both diners to finish together.Value establishment with tasty food, some slight shortcomings, but generally fine, and best of all, open !

We were made most welcome when we arrived, on our motorcycles, without booking. The Castillo d'Acher is well-kept and clean, and we were treated to good food and a friendly welcome. It's a good place to stay if you like something "off the beaten track" in a village in the mountains.

I read the reviews on Trip Advisor. The situation of this place is very pretty, in a small lane filled with flowers and light. Inside there was a bar with one customer, a restaurant with two customers and outside two people at one table and as we arrived a party of about ten people had just sat down. We waited and waited.... And waited!! The couple at the table were being served but no one else. The waiter dropped a bottle and proceeded to clear it up , meanwhile our table of two and the party of ten carried on waiting. Eventually the party of ten got tired of waiting and got up and left, followed soon after by us. They lost a lot of custom today, 12 potential customers, all it needed was a little service, a welcome, a menu.... Something to acknowledge that they were aware that we were there . Pity as it looked nice.

For several days we ate there. The service was always fast and friendly and the food was excellent value for money. We were hungry after hiking, but the food was plenty for us.

Hi guys.I want to review this camp ground, because it is an excellent campground.Drive from the south through Hecho, up north. After, at about, 10 km. turn to the right. The pitches are big. You will camp on grass. The bathroom is spotless. I can recommand this camp ground. You have to pay cash. (The camp ground in the village is different, small pitches; you camp on rocks, not gezellig)regardsschliek.

Fantastic to be able to eat here now that Arturo and his family have reopened this fantastic restaurant. Delicious food served in a great atmospheric family run business that is the heart of the village

We had asked about good restaurants in the area and this had not been mentioned. We decided to lunch there on the advice of Trip Advisor and were very pleasantly surprised. The decor inside was bright and clean and modern. The lighting of spotlights directly over the table was excellent. The menu del dia at 20.50⬠was more than we would usually pay but the quality of the menu was outstanding. The food was imaginative and beautifully presented. The only negative was my steak which was very gristly and hard to cut. I ate what I could and informed the young waiter of the problem, but I do not think my comment was passed on either to the chef nor the owner. However, this would not prevent us from going again to this restaurant and despite this we would recommend it.

Casa Blasquico has 6 different rooms, very confortable and beautiful. Two rooms are triple. You can dinner in the small restaurant downstairs and you´ll sure have a fantastic meal.
Absolutely delicious food with incredible service - definitely worth the trip and want to return soon. We had an amazing mixed salad, vvv delicious crepes con setas (french savoury pancake with local mushrooms - and i am not a mushroom person!) The staff were amazing and if you stay in the hotel you get a great deal - three course for 16 euros - we literally had to roll out of the restaurant and slept like absolute babies! The staffs english was excellent and they were very friendly and helpful, pointed out loads of local hot spots - will def go back soon!
