We have great Home Made Puerto Rican and American food. Great service and atmosphere. Private parking, Delivery, To go, Kids friendly, BYOB.
II passed by this place several times and glad I finally stopped in...narrowing my choices down was difficult, but the pernil asado was OUTSTANDING!!! The pernil meat was so tender and melt in your mouth!! If you have never tried their cilantro house dressing you should...you won't be disappointed. I cannot wait to go back to try their other dishes.

I was born and raised in Perth Amboy, I started going there decades ago. I moved away and went back to celebrate a birthday. The building has not been updated since opening. The fake, green carpet on the sidewalk has to go. Never looked good 30 years ago and now it's unsightly. The bar and restaurant needs new furniture and some updating. We were the first customers at 5 pm. Service was fine but food lacking. The Portuguese potatoes were brown, cold and overcooked. All 3 platters were the same. The kitchen staff should never have brought them out. The fried seafood platters were plentiful and the seafood crisp and hot. The rice was room temperature. Another mistake by the kitchen. The paella was packed with rice and seafood and meats. But tasted very fishy. The calamari was tough and rubbery. Overall, the experience was disappointing. Sad to see a former favorite not serve food up to par. Due to the fact we were the only table - our meals should have been perfect considering the kitchen was not busy. I sadly would not recommend this restaurant.

Was in the mood for a Spanish meal so opened up good ole reliable TripAdvisor for options. Sure enough in my old hometown we found this hidden gem. Donât look like much from the outside. Parking lot is very small, 4-5 parking spots. But man oh man was the food we had delicious. Ordered the mofongo with shrimp and garlic sauce. First tine I have ever eaten and was very, very good. Wife had fried steak and it was very well seasoned and tasted great. Our appetizer we had the sampler, highly recommend. Drinks we both had the mango shakes, great and not too rich. Dessert tres leche cake, came prepacked from somewhere else but was ok. Our waitress was limited in English but she was very helpful. 46 bucks for all the above. Would recommend and will return again and sample more delicious Dominican food.
