Get the snapper tacos! Long standing favorite. Theyâre also famous for the âblack goldâ salsa. Taco Janes is a well run local spot that has indoor/outdoor seating and is very family friendly. Their offerings are a cut above standard Mexican fare and the kitchen has it dialed in. The avocado shrimp salad is great too. Something for everyone. Full bar now as well.

Visited Mi Pueblo for lunch with a friend. The food was very good and the prices were reasonable. The service was Ok, but our waitress didn't seem to know how to smile. Everyone else was friendly. The food was better than other San Anselmo Mexican restaurants so I'm sure I'll return.

I have been here many times. The food is consistently great. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and they have a cozy outside deck with plants (a banana tree) and colorful mosaics. The service is excellent and the chef/owner Bill is a really great guy and always welcoming. This is one of my favorite places to eat. I highly recommend it.

The restaurant is located on D. St right next to Arco gas station. Large parking lot is conveniently available for customers to park. We are located in the courtyard of the large medical building. Please don't let the location fool you. We have very nice
My husband and I dated here in 2001 and ate there this afternoon. It is still just as charming and friendly as it was back then and they have more tables with umbrellas out in the patio since that time. Food was good. Husband had the Chili Mañana and loved it (chili rellano in a green sauce). I had a tamale a la carte and it was very good except that I would like to suggest to the chef that since corn meal is dry by nature, he/she really needs to be more liberal with the sauce on the tamale. It was very dry. The restaurant had gotten busy so instead of asking for more sauce I used their 'salsa' which is very good but not a tamale sauce. I don't mean the chicken, I mean the sauce. Service was good and pleasant.
