Highly recommend this restaurant in the "villa" it's a corner place, I had the adobado shrimp tacos and chiles gueros. The tacos have a perfect blend of spicy with pineapple giving ea bite a zesty after flavor not to mention they are huge and the chiles are delicious filled with cream cheese wrapped in bacon my favorite...now about the service let me tell you the chef is very meticulous and organized I noticed he carefully revises everything carefully before it comes to your hands, the waiter explains everything on the menu in detail and is very graceful and polite!! We will definitely be returning and highly recommend..

We had a wonderful dinner here at this outdoor courtyard restaurant - They prepare a delicious salsa at the table and the chips were warm and freshly made. We started our meal with a tomato salad and then a chicken mole, and beef short ribs. Everything was deliciousHighly recommended

Let me start off by saying that I read several reviews before going back to La Fonda. I tried all the restaurants along the row their over a year ago and was NOT impressed. But I was willing to give it another chance. Big mistake.The food is mediocre at best; It is very uninspired and not that tasty. The service is lackluster. The restaurant is not clean. (The view is beautiful.)I seriously doubt I will return. You can get a much better meal for the price and there are lots of great views along the Baja coast.

It is in the Chapultepec section, south Ensenada, west of the main highway. You can fill up on various Mexican street eats for a paltry sum compared with across the border. Always good, clean taco stand.
