Find out what Spanish restaurants to try in Dorado. Located on Puerto Rico’s north coast, Dorado is a resort town of relatively recent vintage. You’ll find luxury hotels and several championship golf courses. Of course, if you’re used to your local, scruffy public course, your score might suffer—gorgeous ocean views can be quite a distraction.

This is the third time we visit, first time we selected a wine and the did not have it instead they recommended another and did not tell us it was three times more expensive than the one we had selected. Tonight we dicided to give it another chance. We were just out for sone tapas... Ordered the chorizos in wine, a bottle of Robert Mondavi and we decided to order the carne asada. The waitress told is about another plate, a stake for two. We believe it was offered to us ranging in the same price we were selecting and it was a total top off. Carne asada was $12 and this plate was $120 and we waited for an hour. We felt we were taken advantage of. Total disappointed. Please ask the price of everything band do not take recommendations.

Unfortunately, we chose this restaurant for my husbands birthday dinner venue. The restaurant smelled sour inside and didnât feel too clean. The food arrived and the taste of most everything we had was unappetizing. The PR Mofongo was disgusting. Very sad indeed.
The place is basically a bunch of outdoor tables with two serving windows one for food the other for alcohol. It is very casual and prices are pretty moderate. Food was very enjoyable once we got it. It did take forever and several visits from 3 different servers for each step: getting drinks, ordering food, getting food and even getting a check. It was slow even by local standards.Having said that, we still had good time and enjoyed the food.

Hit the links then cool off and restore your energy at the bar or one of the cozy tables at Panela. They've updated the menu, adding a few items like a coconut chicken piccata that's delish. The tostones were a little unusual--too chip-like for me--but I liked everything else. The key lime pie for dessert was a winner.Thank you! for your review and feedback looking forward to have you back. Best Regards!

Went there on the final night of our stay. Were greeted by the owner who took the time to explain the menu. He had lobsters caught the same morning and we ordered them stuffed. Oh my God. They were two pound lobsters filed with every kind of seafood. Out of this world delicious. Sat through two Andrea Bocelli concerts but still could not finish the meal. Absolutely delicious.

Best experience in Dorado. Benny, the sommelier, knows his wines well. Milton the bar tender makes the best cocktails in the area. We eat here every time we are in town. Great lobster, steaks, fish, and experience. Love the painting and art also. Have bought 3 pieces. Strongly recommend!
