Several have been restored to their mid-century retro-hip splendor. Escape to the desert and choose decadent desert dens from the venerable Two Bunch Palms to clothing-optional Living Waters.

I ordered 2 tacos and a quesidilla--it took 30mins and they served everyone else before me even though they came in after me. I felt discriminated against. Salsa is just ok: red, green and spicy red--all pureed, so not my favorite. Cost $14. Expensive.

Homemade tortillas. Homemade tortillas. Homemade tortillas. Great salsas, great chips. Home style cooking. Small sit down place, nothing fancy but friendly and delicious. Will come again. Did I mention homemade tortillas?!?! Almost makes coming to Desert Hot Springs worth it. hahahah!

A second location at 55792 Palm Hwy., Yucca Valley, CA Same owner at both locations.
We ate here with a family friend and a baby and toddler. The staff were very attentive, finding us a high chair and bringing us tortilla chips. Drinks arrived quickly and the food wasn't far behind. Everything was very fresh. I had a chicken burrito and the chicken in it was real tasty. The place looks a little run down but it feels very authentic. Everyone enjoyed their meals and left feeling satisfied.
