De Calexa is a small sympathetic restaurant that serves tasty straight-forward Galician food that should not be shy of any comparison around in Cedeira. The main dishes are big and the apptizers fresh and tasty. Prices are very moderate and atmosphere very peacaful.

Restaurant has a good menu selection and an amazing view of Pantin beach, popular with surfers. It's not for fast food tapas that you find in most local restuarants and mesones (which I also love) the atmosphere is a little more formal yet still relaxed. We enjoyed a family meal including venison, roast pork, steak, seafood rice and monkfish and everyone was impressed. Desserts were really nice too. It's a little pricier than average for the area but worth it. Will definitely return.

We were excited to try this place after reading such good reviews, but were supremely disappointed in the meal. I rarely leave a bad review on tripadvisor, but felt the need to share our experience with others. I've never tasted Spanish seafood that was so off-- even after biking close to 100 km that day, we couldn't finish the meal. Perhaps they were having an off night, but I'd expect a place with reviews like this to notice when they had overcooked their fish, and when it was past its prime, for that matter.

Went here based on recommendation from lonely Planet. Waiters were unengaged and the food was so poor we had to pay and leave for our hotelroom where there was some yoghurt... Deep-fried everything and with and old-oil unpleasant taste. It should be criminal to ruin such fine ingredients. Be ware, and go elsewhere.

This restaurant is in a beautiful location outside of Cedeira in the direction of Pantin. It is a bit hidden in O Puntil (just after a bridge) but well worth the find. It has nice terrace outside seating and lots of seating indoors to accommodate large groups. We were a group of twenty for lunch. Recommended tapas - try the barnacles (but have someone show you how to eat them). Their clams are amazing. Also, octopus was great. The calamari were a bit disappointing (small rings and a little rubbery) but we still ordered seconds.

A good place for a late lunch. We had a nice meal here in a large clinical dining room overlooking the bay and popular with locals. It is located at the far end of the sea front where the parking is good. They specialize in fish which is hardly surpising as the fishing boats draw up nearby. Indeed there is a vivarium in the restaurant for those who wish to choose their lobster or crab before it is cooked: with little regard for nipped fingers the live creature is shown to you on a large tin platter. My hake (merluza) was excellent. Food, choice, wine and service are all good and pricing is very fair.

Having had a large lunch we were looking for a flexible late dinner option in Cederia. This small restsurant is immensely popular and serves mammoth rations of fried calamari and a couple of other fish choices. There are two or three pork preparations like Raxo too. While the seafood was good we have had far more tender fried calamari elsewhere in Galicia. This is a good option for a quick, inexpensive meal and a beer. Not 'worth a detour'.

We were passing by on our way back to A Coruña. The place is a nice and small tavern with friendly staff. We had pulpo a feira, steamed mussels and croquetas. The octopus and the mussels were great! The mussels tasted as if they just took them out from the water! The croquetas were nice but nothing to write home about. If you are looking for basic but great food, go to this tavern.

The place is very small, little choice but each course is just Amazing!!!! Extremely affordable, incredible ratio quality price! I love such place when owners fights to make exquisite and simple food. The experience was just wonderful. My advice go with an empty stomach and enjoy!
